His actually a better player than Cesc in every department except passing vision. Im hoping he gets full fitness soon. He could be the guy to improve our 3-5-2 in big games.

I wouldn’t go as far as that based on one game but he is a decent option to have although like I said it’s only one game, he needs more minutes. Cesc even with his limitations positionally and physically is still a lot better for me.

I still can't believe where at a point where we hope Drinkwater is fit and ready to start for us :D

yup :) more like :( though
that's because even though he's only a decent/good player, our lack of strength in depth is such that we miss decent/good players...

I'm not big fan of drinkwater but him and Kante hada great partnership at Leicester hope they continue that at Chelsea

Stats like this  So, he didn't make more passes than any other player. Can't we just use our eyes instead of stats + proclaiming about his form in past seasons, which we barely even watched?

Maybe this was more down to instruction from Conte to retreat, Danny not fully upto speed or the opposition becoming fearless in the late stages, maybe all 3, but i feel bringing Drinkwater on to see out the games vs Bournemouth and United hasn't really worked and has invited pressure. Ok not to Jose bringing on Mikel extent but it is something that's needs to be noted as i can imagine this ain't the last time we are bringing Danny on to see games out this season, especially if 352 in the bigun's is now here to stay.

To be fair, I think it'll depend on who Drinkwater comes on for. If he replaces Bakayoko or even Kante while Fabregas (and Hazard) remains on the pitch, then I don't think it'll be an issue. But if it's for Fabregas, like against United, then it may be one because we'll obviously invite pressure. Need Fabregas/Hazard out there to have some degree of control of matches.
