Starting to think this guy is a little bit overrated.

I think today's performance (or yesterday) is a sign of how much depth we're going to need in our midfield next season when we have mid-week fixtures.  I don't think it's a co-incidence that Kante's play has suffered during these congested fixtures.  

I know he looks like he's battery powered all the time, but everyone has their limits.

Conte used to be able to pick from Marchisio, Vidal, Pogba, Pirlo for his starting XI, then I'm assuming a youth or back-up in there for cover.

We're rolling with Matic, Kante, Fabregas, Chalobah.  Kante pretty much has to play all day, every day.

The thing is his passing has always been shit. When he is able to get the ball forward by dribbling that doesn't matter but when he gets pressed by a stronger player before he can accelerate he will get dispossed every time. Spurs, arsenal, city and lpool all did that. His energy and tenacity will still be helpful. Of course he needs a long term replacement. In 3_4 years he will be done because he relies heavily on his physical attributes. For the league he is fine but can you imagine a team winning the CL with a midfielder that limited? I can only remember one team to do so and that required shitloads of luck...

Oh please don't say he just relies on physical attributes because he was playing as a 6 at the start of the season when we played 433, displayed a very good tactical understanding of where to be where not to be etc and was just as consistent as he has been now (also very tidy with his distribution). He's just been freed up as a box to box player in this formation. Whether it's a high press or no press, playing with a 2 man midfield in a big game is always a risk in my eyes. 

Teams have won the CL with certain types of players like Kante before. Don't be silly. Hes hardly piss poor which is what you'd think you were trying to say. He's rejuvenated our team in all honestly.

 Life at TC after a loss, doesn't surprise me anymore. Let them vent, next game we win with him beasting he will be underrated instead of overrated again.

Yes, Kante had a really poor game, everyone is allowed to f***ing have one. Christ forbid, he went on to make a mistake in our next game. 

He is one of the 4 world class player we have in our squad and people have written him off after a bad game, tears jn my eyes.

He needs to get a rest on Sunday to recharge himself again, he looked tired against Spurs. No surprise, he covers so much ground every game that he naturally has to fatigue after some time even tough we don't have many games this year. His passing was also very bad the other night as his concentration was seemingly affected by his tiredness.

Next week he will come back in better condition and puts his consistent perfomances in again.

I'd like to see him and Chaobah tomorrow see how they work. Nate is good on the ball and they would compliment each other.

This forum has gone down the drain with some of the people that post on here. Can't even properly discuss football on here anymore. 

Has one bad game, and gets called out on here. Piss off. Don't come back here and post that garbage. His short passing has been the best in the team by far over the course of the whole season.

Need to start banning people that post garbage on here.

Dunno if youve noticed but football supporters dont ever agree about 1 thing (apart from everyone in north London are wankers)

We very rarely agree on even our supposed best players. The only one I can think of is Lamps.

And I wouldn't want everyone top agree with my opinions. It would be a be a short boring conversation.

I'm all for varying opinions mate, but saying we need to look for a long term replacement and that he is done is not a valid one. He is the best in the league at his position. Bar none. He is the best. Hence why success has followed him wherever he has gone recently. 

Barcelona should look to get rid of Messi after every average game he has too. Just an opinion.

Also read that his passing (tho he does make alot and a high % are complete) isn't his strongest point and what we have cried out for is a faster Cescy like with better defending skills.

Or maybe utilize Luiz more and let him do some deep pocket playmaker jobs as well. Or maybe a 3 man CM would suit us better?

Christ he was an amazing buy for us and I wouldn't have complained if he was double his price.
