After Cesc Fabregas completes his move to the Ligue 1 side, Michy Batshuayi could be the second Chelsea player to join Monaco this month, with the Principality club keen to take the Belgian on loan for the rest of the season. (France Football)

Three ideal clubs for this 25-year-old Chelsea outcast to join after expiry of current loan deal

Three ideal destinations for Michy Batshuayi after Valencia

According to reports by BBC, Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi’s loan deal at Valencia is going to be terminated. The Belgian international is set to return to the Stamford Bridge after failing to make an impact in La Liga.

After being signed in the summer of 2016, Batshuayi has struggled to cement his place in the Chelsea team. After making an impact on a short loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, the 25-year-old was being considered for a place in the Chelsea squad but was sent on loan instead to Valencia.

It seems like the Belgian is not up to the mark to lead the line at Stamford Bridge yet and should be looking elsewhere for regular football. Given his availability, a lot of clubs should take notice.

Here are three ideal clubs that should go for the signature of the 25-year-old.

Everton

Marco Silva is in dire need of a quality striker up front to lead the attack for Everton. Both Cenk Tosun and Oumar Niasse have been wasteful at times and have lacked the sharpness in front of the goal. The Belgian could prove to be the striker that Evertonians need right now.

Silva needs to add a striker but they need to make room for his arrival first. Offloading either Tosun or Niasse in this transfer window could help fund the move for the 25-year-old.

NO LOAN FOR BATSHUAYI?

Chelsea are apparently looking to sell striker Michy Batshuayi, rather than send him on loan.

Batshuayi has been recalled early from his loan at Valencia and has been linked with a move to Monaco.

Monaco’s vice president Vadim Vasilyev said today: “Batshuayi? We have an agreement with the player and with Valencia but not with Chelsea. They want a [permanent] transfer. Everything could go very quickly in football so we'll see."
