Tammy Abraham

Some news now that city are montering the contract situation and might be interested in putting in a bid if things don't get resolved. Now I personally don't believe he would go to city or that city even need him. Probably media bs but still annoying.

even if it's just venting my frustration like the I'd be surprised if Abraham reaches 15 goals this season which we all know it's hard to miss.

I think 15 goals in the PL is fair and achievable goal for him this season.

13 already. 15 in all comps. Thank you very much. Remember debate before season about from where our goals are coming?

Drogba had 9 seasons as a Chelsea player.  This season Abraham scored more PL goals than Drogba did in 7 of those seasons.

But thing about Drogba was he could coast through six months of a season but from Feb-May, he would be up for it.

Not really.

04/05: Scored in 2 PL games out of 8
05/06: 4 out of 10
06/07: 4 out of 11
07/08: 2 out of 8
08/09: 3 out of 13
09/10: 9 out of 14 (monster season)
10/11: 2 out of 14
11/12: 2 out of 9
14/15: 1 out of 11

Total: Scored in 29 PL games out of 98 | Scored every 3.38 games.

It's worse than his average of 3.10 for Premier League career for Chelsea (scored in 82 games out of 254 played).

Should have decided the match today. This is why imo he will never be an absolute top striker. Top strikers score when it matters most which are exactly the kind of situations where Tammy is most wasteful. Maybe lamps will eventually iron it out but a striker who loses his cool just when it matters most is exactly what you don’t want. He will always score enough, don’t get me wrong but sometimes it’s not only about how many you score but how many you miss.

Maybe he'll get there one day and while he's not the only inconsistent player in the team, we're living and dying by Abraham's goals. He has 13 league goals overall this season, which is decent when you look at it, but he's scored only 3 goals in his last 10 league games. That's not good.

All comes down to lack of competition. Giroud has been a write off since the Super Cup & Michy isn't going to scratch any itch with minutes.

A move needs to be made by 31/1.

Perhaps it's with the benefit of hindsight but Lampard's management of Giroud this season has been pathetic. He could have been a useful Plan B against deep defensive teams like today but has somehow been ditched after that Super Cup game. And he actually did well in that game too!

He needs some serious competition, he needs to be pushed. Michy is certainly not that man and Giroud? Well I have not seen him in ages.

Don't disagree but is it really just the competition factor? He certainly lacks the killer touch, the decisive quality at the moment and we're paying the price for it. He needs like 10 chances to score 1 goal in a game.

I'm sure the constant digs from Deschamps have played a part as well.
