Holy shit... people are moaning about our defending?? Who gives a flying fuck when we are banging in goals like this. Not just standard goals eithet... nicely.. sexually made goals.

Its like people look at stats and don't bother watching the game... Crouch is 6'6" Azpi is 5'10" it was clear that the game plan for Stoke was to expose the mismatch on our right side. They were winning everything in the air and made it hard to get out. We tried to smother them and get to the second ball but the ball doesn't always bounce your way. 

Their 1st goal was offside too.

Really? You have to ask how we would have stopped Crouch for the equalizer (why was Alonso with him?) and the second goal (3-4 players battling with Crouch and not one managed to win the duel, even from the second ball?)? If you thought the defending was fine, then I've got no words.

first of all we were marking zonally and Cahill was the one who got beat. Secondly Alonso is 6'2" and good in the air. On the second goal Kante missed the chance to clear, it happens, nothing to pull a hissy fit about.

Who's pulling a hissy fit? Only stated the flaws in our performances today (pretty sure Conte won't be happy with that either) because on another day, giving away soft goals like that could have cost us points (remember Swansea this season?). Alonso may be 6'2" but he's not exactly a physical defender, is he? And zonal marking or not, the defender for both goals and in some other instances were certainly quite messy to say the least.

That's a moot point! If the ref did their job there would be nothing to deal with.

You do realize that Crouch got an advantage because he was offside right?

Its not what you've stated, its how. "Atrocious defending" An offside goal and a missed clearance is atrocious... LOL

I talked about our poor defending in general and you somehow singled it to just that one moment, like nothing else was wrong. Lovely. Best to just agree to disagree. Wouldn't want to make a mountain out of a molehill...
