Stupid of Mertesacker to commit. Diego Costa dived, but the referee had all rights to send Mertesacker off. Only with twenty reviews of the incident could people decide if it was a dive. The ref doesn't get that privilege. When I saw it happen live I knew it was a red.

 

Taking Giroud off was stupid. Should have been Campbell.

Because no matter which way you cut it, a man down regardless; Arsenal are very good at moving the ball quickly and efficiently. That is just simply how they play and it's not going to stop just because Giroud is off the pitch.
