Tomo 21,751
The demagoguery of Mourinho is ridiculous. There's a reason he hasn't lasted anywhere for more than 3 years in his entire career. He's an excellent coach but he eventually wears out his welcome. Let's revisit this thread in three years and see what people think of Jose then.Guus Hiddink has never stayed in one managerial job longer than 4 years, are you saying he wears our his welcome too? kellzfresh and Fernando

The Happy One 18
I said it before that he has figured out most of his starting line up, people like mikel and cahill are in big trouble nowyou think?cuz I'm not sure Lamps will continue to play so much. he shouldn't as he's no boy anymore and when he doesn't play our best option is still mikel.a fit mikel works perfectly with ramires if rami works on his first touch and pass. that's the improvement we need in the pivot.we have a good holding player (mikel) and now we need someone to boss the midfield for us, giving us control and to link the attack with class and accuracy.I trust jose to improve ramires in that aspect.lamps is my fave - as showed in my profile, but my frank is feeling the age. he can still produce some screams for us and in some matches he's been good others not much

One of the last things I'd accuse Mourinho of being is a demagogue. Mourinho doesn't appeal to the uneducated masses, if anything it's the opposite; the uneducated masses believe everything they read in the press and hate him for it. It's what makes him such a good fit for Chelsea, since we're equally hated by the masses - mostly - due to the influence of the press. zolayes

Phil Driver 503
A fit Mikel?I didn't realise he had another phantom injury, silly me thought he had been dropped.I think we may see more of the bison than Mikel from now,I wasn't sure about his levels of performance .but he did well at Swindon and I would have him ahead of Mikel. Check the win/play stats we were brilliant last night and 2nd half v Spurs for a reason. You do not think Jose has seen this?
kellzfresh 7,229
The winning formula shouldn't be affected if Mikel plays instead of Lampard..because the rest of the team is starting to settle down. The thing is mikel and lampard are completely different players, so it could be a bigger change than we think. I'm not sure because last season mikel-ramires was the best, but we've played so well against a strong team and a smaller team so mourinho might be reluctant to change it and will try to get some proper chemistry between the players

Let's revisit this thread in three years and see what people think of Jose then. You Belgium fans are going overboard! The manager is doing a good job. He makes mistakes and he acknowledges it. That for me is a mark of a great man. Your worried about KDB we get it, but the boy has to work hard. If he is going to sit and cry about it not getting time then he ain't going to get anywhere. The competition is tough and you have to train hard and take your chances when giving. Look at Schurrle, a lot of people writing him of as a waste of money. But the boy stuck in there work hard and slowly but surely is impressing the manager and now the fans.KDB must also do the same.
