During the match he doesn't know how to change the game. Still, a very nice guy and a very special manager, at least for us. Could any other coach really have led a side that included Derlei, Pedro Mendes and Nuno Valente to European glory? Doubt it. He's the youngest manager to win CL with 2 teams. Twenty trophies in 11 years, across four leagues, that's crazy. He's also the youngest boss to reach 100 games in the CL. GOAT. I also think another difference between Mourinho and any other manager in the world is the fact that he builds his 'fatherly' relationship with the players. This obviously boosts moral and belief in the dressing room. Players believe in his words and that's what makes him a great manager. Here is the evidence: iseah100, Barbara and kellzfresh

And although the 09/10 season was fun and we beat the top teams, he still 'barely' managed to scrape us the title that year. He knows how to keep the stars happy, but he's nowhere near Jose on any level. Tomo

The league title has been close anyway for a few years. Jose might even scrape it this time with us. I think the days were teams dominated the league and won by a clear margin is long gone. I'm not saying that Carlo is better than Jose. In fact, with a little bit of bias, I would say Jose is the best there has ever been. Carlo may not Jose's level but he knows how to win if his plan A works.

Term-X 7,892
No..Carlo's Milan & Pep's Barca are the two best sides in the mid-noughties/nough'teens'. Better than anything Mourinho's had his hands on, Milan only won 1 Serie A title under Ancelotti, now that's shocking.

I'm talking about when Carlo had the best team in world football and consistently failed with them domestically.
Namika 922
Ancelotti is in the game since 1995 and he has won only 3 league titles. One PL (85 pts only), one Serie A, one Ligue 1 and he managed some amazing squad like Parma in 96-98 (players like Buffon, Crespo, Thuram, Zola for the beginning of 96-97, Cannavaro), Juventus in 99-01 ( Zidane, Del Piero, Inzaghi, Davids, Trezeguet,...), at Milan AC he won two CL so no problem. I think he could have done better with us too.Mourinho is a much better manager, just too bad that he lost a lot of CL Semis.
