As of now, we still have Cole and Bertrand. Could even count in PVA if you want.

PVA is the leftback version of Bosingwa. Because he is semi decent in attack makes him a very deceptive player, like most fullbacks who are shite defending (including Bosingwa before his overall flaws became too obvious).

This isn't playstation. Shaw isn't in the discussion because he'll cost a shit load more. Coentrao and Bertrand can fight it out for the succession to Ashley's high throne.

You seriously saying a 17-year-old Luke Shaw would be more expensive than the €18m rated Coentrao who would no doubt demand much higher wages, being a player who Real Madrid paid €30m only two years ago. :lol:

The 25-year-old Coentrao joined Madrid in 2011 from Benfica and he has impressed, playing at both full-back and in midfield.

However, with Mourinho's departure confirmed and the Portuguese coach expected to join Chelsea, Coentrao is looking to follow his fellow countryman through the Bernabeu exit doors.

Speaking to Ojogo in his homeland, Coentrao said: "From the first day I do not think I was wanted here.

"Today it seems that everyone wants me to leave the club. I do not know what I have done wrong.

"We must find a solution that is good for both the club and myself, so that no one will lose out."

Coentrao was asked about the prospect of following Mourinho to Chelsea, and he admitted he would not rule it out.

"If I leave Real Madrid, I do not close the door to anyone," he said.

I remember AVB also chase him, before Real pay really huge 40m for LB. So it will be good deal if we got him now for cheap.

Just because I mentioned PVA, doesn't mean I rate him. Never know what our next manager will do with him.

According to media reports in Spain, Mourinho came to the last training session of his son and was much more friendly than in the past, when among other things , he allows other parents to approach him, have a conversation and be photographed with him.
When some of those present urged Mourinho to change his mind and stay at Real Madrid, he told them over and over again: "I'm going to London, where do love me. If you will do a survey, you will see that nobody here loves me. I have my reasons for leaving "

If we are going to bring any former player as an assistant, I rather be one from Chelsea.

Like Drogba, if he is about to retire, he can come and be our assistant.

Or fuck it, just make Lampard the assistant. Have Mourinho and Lampard coordinate things in the field.

Especially since Lampard is playing less and less each year.

The assistant manager should just be good at his job and work well with Mourinho, if it's someone who played for Chelsea before that would be nice yeah, but if anyone can do a better job then not hiring him would be silly.

I have my doubts about Materazzi of all people though lol, Lampard as assistant manager though? Not before he retires... Think you are seriously underestimating how much time assistant managers also spends working, should be 100% focused on playing instead.

I got to the conclusion that I'm like 99% sure Mou is coming.

Think about it, how many players have talked about how much they would love to work under mou? and how everyone is excited about it etc.

Lamps, Terry etc. speak with Mou, so it makes sence that they already know he's coming, and they might have told the other players, hence all the comments about Mou.

Just my theory :rolleyes:

Anyways, he has been fired (released from his contract whatever..) from Real, so now I can only see it being us or PSG. Though it seems like Carlo won't leave, so..
