I'm starting to feel like we'll get a 'smaller' manager who's more balanced and less tactical than Mou (perhaps Capello) yet actually be competing for the title next season. No manager is bigger than the club. Hopefully regardless who we get, it's a good season.

In our case, we need José Mourinho more than any other manager, i want us to play some football, i want us to win with style, i want us to win titles, i want us to be solid defensively, i want us to be the "old" Chelsea.At the moment, we are a joke.A joke because we cant stick with a manager, cant stick with our legends.Benitez is a clown, he cant change the fate of Lampard because he has no power.We need back José Mourinho, he is the only one that can save our ship right now & also because he will move from Madrid.We need him because he may save Lamps career at Chelsea, so at this time, José is more important than the players, directors & Roman.

You're overreacting. He isn't bigger than the club and if he doesn't come we can still move forward and succeed.

OK, serious question..

Given that Mourinho hasn't stayed at a club for longer than 4 years, what happens when he is inevitably sacked/resigns again (because let's face it, Roman hasn't changed)? Where do we go from there? Back to hiring and firing managers for fun again whilst the fans beg for the next 7 years for him to come back?

Yeah but then you could say what happens when the next manager whoever it be's gets fired, theres no guarentee whoever it is how long they will actually stay as much as we would all like some stability manager wise.

Tbh, we have been getting twitter reports saying he is coming, so some saying he is going doesn't really change much. We are not supposed to beleive everything on twitter so they could be as much as a guess as the ones saying he is coming.

Have you guys seen Carvalho?? How many games does he play? You guys are foolish if you think Lampard will still be in Mou starting 11, when he dropped his old Portuguese CB at Real for a teenager..

With this board ? I have doubts, of course if you want to fix the problem by buying Toure and Falcao, good luck, but I really cant find the manager that will move the club forward.

Foolish ? Hopefully, you can guide us to the truth by your messages.Seriously, Carvalho is now as good as me in terms of defending, he is no near as good as Varane, and he is playing at Real Madrid, so its absolutely normal to see him on the bench rather than on the pitch.Lampard will be dropped of course, but he'll stay, and play, and score, because he is a magnificent player that still can wins us matches in a cold night in Stoke.
