On the contrary, one of his responsibilities as the manager is to reflect a good image of both the club and the fans.You don't go call your overweight boss a "fat wanker" and tell him he wishes he was as fit as the rival company owner because "it's true". How about instead of moaning about how pathetic it is you get your arse down to Fulham Road at 3PM this Saturday and join the few thousand like-minded fans and actually encourage the team rather than just moan about how shit our support is? If he said something like 'I want the fans to be our 12th man and make it difficult for Liverpool' then it would be greeted with a much better response than 'it's an empty stadium' and 'if only we could got 25% of Anfield's noise'. I can't imagine what he says to the players he doesn't particularly like if this is how he treats the fans who always chant his name. People can rationalize it as him trying to lift the crowd but what he's doing is degrading the fans. Plain and simple.Just really sad. He shouldn't even think about telling us what we can and cannot sing. He's the manager of the team we support, not our boss at work.
