Sidzeret 2,257
This might probably sound 'over the top' but in all honesty his comments and treatment of the fans is now bordering on degrading. People can rationalize it as him trying to lift the crowd but what he's doing is degrading the fans. Plain and simple.Just really sad. Almost as if he said that he wished he had fans like Liverpool does. Jose should tread lightly if he doesn't wish to upset the fans. dee25

Share Posted January 22, 2015 If he loves the scousers and their atmosphere so much he should tell his agent to put him up for the anfield post to replace rodgers. If he's going to keep disrespecting our fans and atmosphere at the bridge while kissing Liverpool's asses then he can feck off for all I care. You want your manager to defendand support you publicly and not the otherway round Peace., Styles, iseah100 and 3 others
pHaRaOn 2,131
Maybe he's mad because we sang the Gerrard song?Fans made a fool of Jose after his request not to sing about Gerrard, but support the team. Sure he was pissed off. RoyalBlues
manpe 10,861
I wonder if Chelsea fans booed the players, what would Jose say? Would he lash out and tell everybody to support the players rather than bash them? If he did, then that's hypocrisy at its finest, because he's essentially booing the fans with those comments. Sure he was pissed off. Not the fans, it was he who made a fool of himself. It's not his place to dictate what a paying fan should or should not sing about. So if he's pissed off about the non compliance, well boo-fucking-hoo. It'll teach him to not poke his nose where it doesn't belong. José has no right to tell us what we can and can't sing. He isn't Chelsea. We were here long before him and we will be here long after he's gone. He shouldn't even think about telling us what we can and cannot sing. He's the manager of the team we support, not our boss at work. If anything he is employed by us because without supporters there would be no money in football Barbara, Amblève. and Sir Mikel OBE

darrus 422
From non native speaker POV, I don't see what's offensive in Mourinho's words. I understood them as saying "with quarter of what we can do we'll be better than their best" and thought it's a dig towards them. Then I come here and see a huge uproar. lionsden 4,689
But the thing is you see, Liverpool do not have a billionaire owner so Mourinho won't be doing that. Some of the stuff he's come up with in his second spell in charge has been quite baffling. He publicly blasted the home crowd and atmostphere. Kissing Gerrard and Liverpool's asses all week, He insinuated that we are a small club by the grand scheme of things (i,e compared to your Madrid,Bayern,United etc), He routinely threw his players under the bus publicly for most of last season, showed hostility to a club legend, di Matteo and so on.very soon he will start turning against those that chant his name in every game.I definitely liked him better in his first spell in charge, much more pleasant and partisan back then. What sane manager would applaud the liverpool fans and ignore his own supporters who out-sung the home crowd for close to 60 mins of the match? Who does that? Knowing full well the animosity that exists between Chelsea and Liverpool, you applaud the home fans and snub your own. That's just so messed up, I'm loss for words.Feel really bad for the fans who travelled. They were brilliant and don't deserve that at all. I dont think he genuily thinks what he said about the fans this time around, when he apologized a month ago he was really feeling that the home fans arent doing their job, but this time around I think he wants a rocking Stamford Bridge but the way he wanted to say it backfired, generally, he cant be that fool to criticize once again our supporters after his apology.
