How is he backtracking? In that initial interview they ask him, if he would like to come back to Barcelona. He answered that he would like to come back ONE DAY, because he would like to retire at Barca. He never said that he wants to leave Chelsea this summer.

There has been a change to the squad number Pedro will wear on the back of his shirt ahead of the upcoming 2016/17 season.

The Spaniard will take the no.11 shirt - vacated by the departure of Pato - having worn the no.17 on his back during his first campaign in west London.

Even if he didn't play he still trained and was a part of a squad in a major, you need to break from football mentally.

I think it's a compulsory rule that footballers need three weeks off from football related activity.

Dont think theres a rule. Bat Sushi was back a week before the other Belgians. Previously Sxurrle was back 2 weeks before other Germans came back.

Maybe a guideline??

agree on that one, but still players to not come whenever they want club gives them the date and they take full advantage of it.
