The only place to be 11,313
Simple question. At the end of this season, who do you want to be the next guy in charge? My preference is Guardiola and he seems to be the club's first choice too. Looking at where we are and where we're looking to go, he seems to be the best choice and he's available......kinda.
Sheva. 5,373
I personally don't really care anymore, i'll support whoever it is, but i know he will be fired soon anyway.
Hamilton 2,120
So the question is who we want and not who we think it will be.Hm, I just want the special one back, and hope he stays for a very long time..
bushman 2,043
What makes you think he might be fired ?Some say, more stability is sought for at Stamford in 2013.
The only place to be 11,313
What makes you think he might be fired ?Some say, more stability is sought for at Stamford in 2013.His contract allows for a break in the summer. I don't think anyone really wants him to stay beyond that but it isn't impossible.
Laylabelle 9,535
I personally don't really care anymore, i'll support whoever it is, but i know he will be fired soon anyway.Yeah exactly lol! No point getting to excited with whoever we get..Be nice for someone to overtake Carlos record of two years...wont hold for much thoughNot Zola! To nice of a player/person to be treated like crap. That and experince etc not all that much...Guess after all the fuss and fact we seem to be set on him Pep..big question be how well will he do..and will he even come here.. The only place to be 11,313
I actually think the club would like a long-term option, but none of them have worked out. It's why I think Pep is the best choice, because there would be a dedication to his appointment (based on his track record) that simply wasn't there with past appointments. Roman sees him as 'his guy' so he won't ditch him so quickly.Rafa is an interim. That's the only reason some of the fans aren't calling for his head, but there's simply no way many of them would want him as the long-term manager. Jose is only an option because he's doing so shit right now - 16 points off Barca after only 17 games. I also don't think he's a good bet for a long-term choice because he specialises in building teams for right now. The club wants a guy who can instil an ethos into the club and become something self-sustaining, like Pep did at Barca. We also have a director of football, something Pep's fine with and Jose isn't.For me, there's only one choice and if we can't get him then we're fucked for a few seasons. CHOULO19 24,332
I would love Low. An excellent tactician who seems o be able to get the best of young prospects.
bushman 2,043
Dear Chelsea fans,I just finished consoling the little blonde princess that the big black sheep won´t kill her.I hope you do not mind. Then you fans sang " There is only one Di M. Liquidator 5,176
Don't give it to Zola or Poyet. They are legends but would inevitably be treated like shit by the board and sacked if we lose 3 games. They deserve better.
bushman 2,043
The above two would be as good as Di M & we know where Chelsea were in November.
Corner 456
Guardiola gets my vote without hesitation. I've stated many times on here why I think he is the best option, and @The only place to be pretty much summed it up perfectly. If our bid to get Guardiola fails, then I would like to see Klopp or Bielsa (even though he is insane). Klopp is an amazing tactician, is great at raising youth prospects and gets on great with all of his players. Pretty much exactly what we need in terms of a long-term manager. And Bielsea, well, need I elaborate?I've heard that Manuel Pellegrini is also on our 'back-ups to Guardiola list' as well, and he wouldn't be a bad appointment at all. YouNameIt 1,511
I honestly dont think Pep wants to come here. And I think Rafa will stay for another season. We wont bring in another manager in the summer.

We wont bring in another manager in the summer. That's your opinion and all... and I respect that. But why does everyone keep saying Pep doesn't want to come here? There hasn't been anything that he has said that suggests this.I actually think it's highly likely that he will come here. Everything is set in place for him to be manager and it seems inevitable at this point.
Corner 456
Also, is anyone else surprised that Benitez is joint second in this poll? Strange.
