If we get Messi it would do so much for Chelsea as a brand! A deal like this would take us to another level and in the same group as Bayern, Real, Barca and mufc.

assume the fee to be around 120-140£m. Adidas will definitely help out with extra sponsor money. Roumors saying 70%(last year they said 50%).

If we get near the FFP line, I really don't think we will.. But if, we can sell Mikel - replace with Ake, Schurrle and Salah out - Replace with Isiah/boga. Cech is going.

I would love for this to happen, but I can't see it.

However, hypothetically, say one of us, City or PSG bought him and still "failed" FFP?

I really couldn't see UEFA banning Messi from playing in the Champions League.
