Atleast Balo is not injured. And the bolded part just :clown: you just described Costa also.

costa has an attitude problem??? being a hard competitor on the pitch and being in the face of the defenders is different from being balotelli. and the fact that u r comparing his cuntishness on the field to balotelli's massive ego and attitude just shows and how much u know when u compare the fighting spirat of a player to balotelli's nothingness inside the head.

how much do u think balo will come for? 30mil? at least. well same as costa. dont see the gamble.

what effect would a player like balo have on someone like lukaku when he shoots him with an air gun? or when lukaku sees him flunk training and still start every match.

also, this is balotelli's injury history. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mario-balotelli/verletzungen/spieler/45146

which is actually much longer than costa's injury history http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/diego-costa/verletzungen/spieler/44779.

also the fact that u want balo over costa and somehow think balo is lesser of a gamble is :clown::wank2:

I don't want another kaka/Torres situation. It's not sensible to buy an injured player ever. we should do the sensible thing and wait to assess his condition after recovery to know if he's still at 100% and if we will be getting full value for the money.

I'm on par with some. This guy needs a rest.

If they take him to the world cup we better watch out cause that's exactly what did Torres. Rush himself for the world cup.

So the best thing is for us is to buy him and he chills the whole summer in the lovely hands of Eva! :-P

hopefully he wont be a spain starter, as he only has 1 cap.

You think a dude who fucked up his hamstring one week and willing to play the next-knowing that it is not helping his team or might ruin his long term future is going to miss the WC? Good luck with that, the way I see it even if he has a broken arm like Drogba 4 years ago he would still do everything possible to go. That is why it is better to delay the deal until after the WC, who knows what else this guy might do to his body or injuries that he might pick up on the way.

It is not like we got lot of teams in for him either. Arsenal, Spurs, maybe Monaco, Dortmund, AC Milan(if Balotelli left), Inter are in for him. The rest of the top teams already got top class strikers in each and everyone of them. Now who might he choose out of these over us? Maybe Monaco but even then they got Falcao back so they might not be interested. Arsenal/Dortmund and Inter are really realistic opponents but he will choose us over Arsenal/Inter all day everyday. For Dortmund we can offer much bigger wages to him than them, apparently they can't even afford to offer Lewandowski £100k per week.

So no harm in delaying the deal, cancel if necessary too.

It's laughable that people are overblowing a grade 1 hamstring strain. Let the medical staff at Chelsea assess him and trust their judgment because it's infinitely more informed than your's.

To be fair, it's not the injury itself that will concern me.. It's how he's going to treat it and whether he'll rush back for the sake of making it to the World Cup. A la Torres, we've seen players do detrimental things to themselves in the long term to make temporary fitness.

Of course he is, any player would. We should announce the deal right away, what if he has a great WC? Then his price will skyrocket.

He's got a buy-out clause. We might face more competition for his signature and be forced to offer him more wages, but his transfer fee will be the same

Why not set his salary, buy fee before, but wait for the medical after the world cup? Why is it not possible?

It is possible and that is what we should do. Just that most of the people on here want to get excited by us announcing a big name signing, even though he might not turn out well. Always play it safe after the Torres incident imo, never rush again no matter if you are signing Hilario or Ronaldo.
