Diego Costa

There was a hell of a lot of attention on Atletico last season and Costa was their main man. Either way I don't think Costa will suddenly learn to control his emotions. I just hope Mourinho speaks to him about it instead of blaming the referee/FA when he is inevitably banned.

That's why we should have kept Eto'o this season, he is still good enough to fill in when and where, Torres and Drogba aren't imo.

What I like about this is his early goals, goals in pre-season should have confidence through the roof. His link up play already looks amazing with Cesc, not only that but he looks really comfortable with his back to goal and the ball at his feet.

Right now he looks like a super buy.

Thing is defenders will now try to kick the hell out of him, he will either get mad and retaliate or be injured. I hope something can be done about this, I am sure a lot of defenders will be planning to do it

He's a striker playing with masses of confidence at the moment and that shows in his finishes. Direct and instinctive, the complete opposite of Torres.

If he can keep that going throughout the season it will be an amazing feat, but I have a few worries about him having that inevitable dip.

All promising so far though.

Calling it now ... provided he stays out of trouble and injury free, 25 league goals.

I think he might get in trouble.

You can just see it coming.

It would be amazing if he doesn't get a silly red card this whole season.

It's not just that he scored, but he made that goal out of nothing and how many times have we looked at strikers and wanted one of them?

Reminds me of Crespo in the runs he makes and the way he uses his (surprisingly big) body.

Our FK which resulted in the second goal came when he was fouled doing his own thing too. Had it been Torres there, maybe it would have ended in 0-0.

He looks good and sharp, but I am still not too convinced that

our striker force as a whole can win us the title or the tight big games if Costa is suspended or injured.Drogba isn't the same anymore and Torres..is just Torres.
