BlueLyon 9,359
can we appeal? I don't know the rules.Mourinho's words on him:“We’ve explained to Diego Costa what people like in the Premier League, what we don’t like, and the kid presented himself here with a fantastic and polite attitude and he was booked. The kid wasn’t happy and I hope he doesn’t get any more unfair decisions.”and LOL FOREVER at Mourinho calling him a kid. I know he's young, but then I look at his face and I think is drug cartel lord for a couple of decades, lol.I hope there's a way for us to erase that yellow. My bad, I eventualy found we cannot appeal, its stupid rule...Yeah, not going to take long before Costa starts calling Mourinho daddy Barbara

Tomo 21,751
I said this in pre season so this isn't a knee jerk based on tonight but I have honestly not been do convinced about a signing for so long, this guy has everything to succeed especially in our system. Popular Post! Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067 Posted August 19, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted August 19, 2014 One aspect that i know we all love but hasn't really been touched upon was his pressing. My days, he is relentless, and the way he instructs his team-mates to do the same is phenomenal. There were a few times where he'd press and Hazard and Co. just watched him, which understandably got him upset, but over time our AMs will have to follow his lead. But one thing that struck me while noticing this was that, surely, just surely this would mean we are in for another striker. There's no way we can successfully carry out our pressing with Drogs/Torres at the helm, and it would be a disservices not only to Diego but for us as well if we ran him into the ground. different level 1,056
Fantastic debut in official match for Diego! He pressed, terrorized the Burnley defense constantly, scored the equalizer and was unlucky not to be given and penalty. He has all the qualities a top striker should have and I enjoy watching him in attack - a pacy battering ram with great goalscoring ability, very dangerous in the penalty box and is extremely hard to be pushed off the ball.I can't wait for the next game and I'm really excited to see more of him as the season progresses! MrBlueGuy 1,552
Looks like he will be getting at least 20 goals for us, would be quite fun to look back 20 pages or so in May next year to see who had got his goal prediction right Namika

Tomo 21,751
If Costa gets a hat-trick against Leicester and one at Goodison, he would already be a quarter of the way to Fernandos league tally for us.

Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
The black hole when it comes to strikers and Chelsea, I will say 14 goals next season but hoping for many, many more.He needs the same support we gave to Torres whether we like him or not.CAREFREE!!!so only 13 more all season? yikes! BenIsLegend 475
Seems like he just about shaved that Burnley defender's nuts offDon't like to bash on Torres too much in a Costa thread but Torres would of tried to do a fake shot then and go past the defender in front on him, one of his biggest problems is attempting to do too much at times. kellzfresh 7,229
there are 3 Burnleys around Costa and 4 around Hazard, which left 3 to cover our other 8!This is the importance of a striker with fear factor, the defenders can't ignore him like torres. If they mark out hazard and Costa at the same time, the rest of the team is free to cause damage. If they ignore him, he bursts someone's nuts Tomo
