🇪🇸 Diego Costa

I don't think it ever leaves to be honest. Its just easier to hide when everything is going well. Look at Suarez. Been sunshine and blue skies ever since he came to Spain, so we never have to see his dark side appear.

Really disappointed in Costa. He quit on the team when he got sent off there. No different from Hazard asking to be subbed when the going got rough.

I'm in agreement. Just thought he'd seen some sense under Hiddink. The fact he started today disppointed me more, seeing as he was probably able to carry on against PSG at 1-1.

Will be a while till he plays again if he receives a similar ban to Suarez.

The media will get Costa banned (its front page news on the daily mail website already) and shame on him for getting himself in the position.

Ban him, play Traore for the rest of season. No excuse for even attempting it, even if he didnt go through with it, it's a disgusting move.

If he's truly unsettled here like we keep hearing maybe after this latest incident the club won't stand in his way if a big bid comes in. The club will be desperate to rid ourselves of the image we have and Diego personifies it.

I love his game but hate worrying about him each and every time he takes the pitch.

I still believe he's one of the best striker. He just needs to control himself much better.

I still want him around next season but if he wants to leave we can't force him to stay.

I'm ambivalent about retaining him. Away from home, he motivates opposing fans too much and, home or away, his technique often fails him when he has the ball at his feet. If we get a sensible offer from Atleti I'd take it.

Never thought I'd say this about a Chelsea player, but for the love of football, just LEAVE!

Absolute disgrace to the club and all that is stands for.

Let's see what the mega reviews reveal but I fear this may be worse than Suarez in one way. My view, not widely accepted I know, is that Suarez just looses it and can't help himself. It looks to me like something that's been with him since childhood. I'm not sure Diego has that excuse. Anyway...

Given the opportunity I'd have signed Suarez even after the bite at Anfield but I don't believe Diego offers enough to offset the hassle, bad publicity and extra motivation he provides to opponents. If he stays, he stays but if he leaves I'm fine with it. Only, please Chelsea, if we are to replace Costa, buy a striker whose first asset is his technical ability. Thirteen years Roman has been here, not one such striker signed.

Does anyone feel frustrated with him and feel there are better strikers out there? Technically he is quite poor for a striker; his dribbling, ball control and decision making is incredibly poor at times. I hate when he runs down blind alleys and keeps hold of the ball too long which results in him losing us possession.  Maybe I am the only one who feels this way, but I just don't think he suits the system we want to play. We want to play fast flowing football, quick passing and retaining possession and at the moment he, amongst a handful more, are just not capable of this.

I think its the opposite. When we play fast flowing football with quick passing, Diego scores for fun. Like the first few games with Hiddink in charge. Too bad we stopped that.

I just cant understand Costa sometimes why he get urself into fights the best way to shut up ppl is scoring goals against them

They deliberately targeted him, knew how to push his buttons and the ref let it happen.

The foul before his reaction was a nasty one, in the end it was the icing on the cake.

We need to help Costa, must find a solution, we have to find guys who can stop Costa, like Terry, but club' kicking him out, what a shame...

You are not the only one.
