Popular Post! petre.ispirescu 4,928 Posted September 11, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted September 11, 2016 Listen, crocked Gundogan who is a torn ACL ready to happen even in his sleep, is as slow as Fabregas and has a similar work rate, but guess what? Guardiola is going to throw him into his starting line-up the 1st minute the medical team gives him the OK. Why? Because of his passing skills and vision. I cannot understand for my life why Conte wastes his best passer of the ball on the bench................ There is no one in this team better than Fabregas at opening up spaces, Matic and Oscar can't do it, one of them must be sacrificed. Cesc has changed the game completely at Watford, he's done it again today, clearly he can't improve some attributes now when he is nearing 30, but the manager must find ways to complement for his lack of speed and work rate and play him to his strenghts. Beigl, nono, CHOULO19 and 6 others
blues.bridge 343
Someone have To explain me why, With all problems we have for starting play, we have To keep  fabregas  on the bench?  Why why why?????  It's like Break a tire And don't use The spare!
Popular Post! Barbara 15,149 Posted September 11, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted September 11, 2016 Maybe Conte doesn't think he can play the 90 minutes or that he could compromise our midfield and worsen an already bad defense. But Conte himself said the best defense is attacking, so why doesn't he act like talks and bring the most creative player we have? It's not like we have plenty of them and Cesc is the best but also the more compromising. We don't have creative players AT ALL other than him and we're struggling watching Oscar, Willian and even Matic create for us. It's a miracle Diego has rescued us three times already as he did with the terrible service he's been receiving. I reckon we would have had 4 wins if we had played Cesc. Let him start and take him off during the break or bring him at the break. What makes no sense is not to use him in the matches unless we desperately need a goal to win. If Conte brings him up every time we were down in the scoreline, why wait til it happen to bring him? Makes no sense to me and the media should be making more noise about it and maybe Conte would have a wake up call and some pressure on him to make the most obvious decision. quickpassnmove, Blue Gino, blues.bridge and 2 others

Beepu 1,714
I'm hoping that he will start more games once our defense isn't so shaky (ie when Cahill and/or Terry are not in it). Because at the moment it's so weak that the work rate of Kante, Matic and Oscar is necessary to shield them. Mceachran 109
If we were winning with shutouts I would say Conte might have a point. Â But we are giving up a lot of goals, so I don't think Cesc would be the reason for us getting scored on 3 times a game or anything like that. Â Why not bring him on, kill off teams, and sure sub him out when we're up 2-3. Â Hazard and Costa play with so much more joy when he's on the pitch. The Skipper 20,609
Still believe he'll play more when we have a faster back line (so when Zouma returns and Luiz starts). Hope so anyway. What I'm loving about Cesc is how professional he's being with all this going on. Dude changed the rhythm in our midfield when he came on. Looked so much better. Blue-in-me-Veins, Beepu, Tomo and 1 other

Blue Gino 377
Fab has been a total professional and it boggles my mind why the guy who created more chances than all of Swansea in his limited minutes can't start in a midfield of Kante and Oscar. Barbara and Muzchap
DH1988 1,348
To be honest I never expected him to be so professional and I hope he stays that way as with a 3-5-2 or whatever you want to call it I think he absolutely thrives.. Hopefully he's waiting for that..? Thought we could of done with him coming on earlier yesterday.
