Today's newspaper in Kosovo: 'Chelsea 'king' of transfers'.

Bayern MONACO is second , LOL.

Why is that funny? Bayern has done well and Bayern Munich is written as Bayern Monaco a lot of places. I at least have a hard time pointing towards a club having done better than Bayern other than Chelsea.

The whole world respects Chelsea now, says chief executive Ron Gourlay

I'd be interested in knowing what he attributes the bigger fanbase to.

26m to 400m, or whatever the numbers he stated are, is quite an incredible increase. But its been pretty evident how much more work we've been putting in to improving the Asian fan base. Long may it continue.

TV and internet streams coupled with aggressive marketing is what all top clubs do, but success on the pitch is paramount, otherwise profits plummet as has been happening with Man Utd. Fans want to be associated with winners.

Good stuff.

If Gourlay feels that good about Mourinho then that's good.

The more support you have from your board the better.

Arsenal’s annual wage bill moves ahead of Chelsea’s for first time in more than a decade Exclusive: Recent arrivals of Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck and Mathieu Debuchy mean Arsenal are now third behind Manchester clubs in Premier League salary spend

Arsenal’s annual wage bill is understood to have moved ahead ofChelsea’s for the first time in more than a decade, the Daily Telegraph can disclose.

Accounts for the year ending May 31, 2014 were published on Friday by Arsenal and revealed that the annual wage bill had increased to £166.4 million, while revenues exceeded £300 million for the first time in the club’s history. This summer’s transfer activity, however, is not included in the accounts and the net increase to the wage bill following the arrivals of Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck, Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Calum Chambers is around £15 million. That would put the wage bill for this current 2014-15 season at over £180 million.

Chelsea’s most recently disclosed wage bill was £176 million, for the year ending 2012-13, but the Telegraph can reveal that this figure has stayed virtually static over the past two years amid the departures of older, higher-profile players like Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole and Fernando Torres.

It all means that the financial figures relating to this current season – 2014-15 – are expected to show that Arsenal are now actually only third behind Manchester United and Manchester City in the Premier League for spending in salaries.

It all sounds great, and there is no doubt club do great business. Hope from now on it continues, and, with success on the pitch, we also raise revenues significantly. It's obviously to keep our top players and add new we have to grow profits to meet FFP rules.

So that part is a little bit worried -

"With revenues of £433.2 million, the increases have been easily afforded by United, as is the case for Arsenal, whose added spending for this current season is more than covered by a new kit deal with Puma that is worth £150 million over five years. Chelsea, largely due to their more limited matchday revenues at Stamford Bridge, are simply unable to significantly drive up their wages and also remain within Uefa’s FFP guidelines."

Would new stadium realy bring us that more money? I mean, we would have to spend big time on construction first and still, we probably wouldnt have more than 60k seater, which is not THAT much more than we have now...

And obvious question where to build new stadium...

Wouldn be better if we just sign a realy good sponsor contract or maybe even several new contracts like Manu did with Dhl, aon and chevrolet?

The money spent on a new stadium would be exempt from FFP.
