Many things went wrong this season, and they were just badly exposed today. The guys gave everything on the pitch, time to move on. Sometimes its long, long run before you can reach a UCL Final.You might be the most ignorant Chelsea fan on these boards. Simeone's squad is complete and been together for a while. Perhaps if we had eleven Aspilequeta's we'd have won this game, the guy really gives his all for the club. Heads up Chelsea, we've still had a fantastic season. It was when I really realized Schwarzer is so fucking old!Cahill, he was so gutless he should not appear in public at least a week! What an embarrassing performance by him. It was like he gonna shit himself any minute.The rest of the defense were so shaky and nervous as well you don’t expect a team with the bus to perform like that!Hazard and Eto’o 2 injured sub’s fucked us epically. Hazard with the defensive mistake and Eto’o with PK and it was game over.It’s apparent other than parking the bus or two we have no clue of playing football!It’s unreal how we managed to reach semi-final of the UCL. We've been superb at times and abysmal at others.In my opinion it's a culmination of a lack of stability. 4 managers in the last 3 seasons has had a big effect, especially when all have a different way of playing and at the same time we've significantly added to the squad with younger players. The failure to adequately replace Drogba has crippled us too.Jose has known this all along and I believe if he is committed to at the very least see out his contract he'll rebuild this club to challenge again for another decade. We'll be a far stronger animal next season and this experience will hold us in good stead.Jose is here to say forever. I can't see the board thinking any different. They're what I hope we become but for that to happen we really need to address the technical quality in the team from front to back. King11Didier 916 Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 Disappointing result.Stupid mistakes in defence,which we hadn't made early in the season.But we made them in our most important match.More disappointing were the empty seats 4-5 minutes before the end.Why they can't just stay and support the club till the end,even if the team is losing.Stay there and sing along with our fans.If I had the opportunity to go there,especially on semi-final match,I'd stay even after the final whistle and sing all the time. The only reason this Chelsea team that got knocked out of the group stages last season made it to the semifinal was because of Jose Mourinho. Horrible team, overrated manager, has-beens, pretenders, failures etc., now this will be a narrative till the end of next season. I have no clue where to hide from it...How you deal with such things? I think I need advice.We will be better. We will be stronger. We will sort the team out. But right now the better team won. As much as it hurts to admit.Azpi MOTM and maybe player of the year. Hazard should have his attitude sorted out.Whole team needs it, think of it. They just let their heads drop when the 2nd goal went in.We'll survive it. But... damn. We couldn't cope with a physical team that had a better attack than us and we just weren't good enough.I'm sad, of course, but far from heartbroken. The players gave their blood there, Willian cried when he was subbed, Terry cried when the match ended. They fought, they tried, but we're just short.Hazard was lacking any rhythm and couldn't do his thing, Torres made an effort but it wasn't enough. Courtois had a great display - and the post was in our way (but then again so was in theirs). I think it's fair to say the better team in the pitch won.I have no doubts we'll come stronger next season. I have no doubts those players will mature a lot and I have absolutely no doubts next season we'll celebrate again.For now we have a few hard lessons to learn, an attack to improve and some players to mature.Keep The Blue Flag Flying High.
