supporter 3,088
I think that finally we are going to sign him. But I have a doubt: as centre-back or as a right-back ?.Ivanovic is not in their best performance and maybe he could be an option at right-back.But, if (as seems obvious) Varane is an impossible signing, I would bet heavily on Stones - Zouma to start building the Chelsea of the future.Regards. Hybrid Angel 2,130
Terry and Cahill are holding us back with their constant need to be protected by other players. Signing him is a must. Get him, forget the price.
King11Didier 916
We have Zouma, no need to give so much money for him. If we buy him now, he will be staying on the bench and will pause his improvement. At his age, he must be playing regularly and prove his cost. I don't believe he will be starting instead of Cahill or Terry, even Zouma who is showing far more promise than Stones and is ready to be in our 1st team, finds it hard to fight wit Mou for his place in the team. xPetrCechx 13,573
Chelsea are preparing an improved offer for John Stones but will not get into a bidding war for the Everton defender. The Premier League champions have had a £26m bid rejected already.(The Sun)

BlueLyon 9,359
30m+ for Stones is a joke. I seriously cant believe people here are happy with it but are laughing at Sterling for 49m.We have Zouma to fill Stones role. Why the hell we need to spend 30m on Stones is beyond me.We need to improve our attack and midfield too, instead we will splash 50m pounds on Stones and Baba who wont even play. Great. Great. If given the choice of getting 2 of the most exciting defenders , or keeping the same worn out squad. I would choose the first , and be positive about it. Even if its nothing like ,what i had hoped from the window.

Jase 43,479
Can you imagine we buy Stones just before the transfer window closes and the first game after that is Everton away and we put him straight into the starting XI? That would be something.
nadavTKL 1,787
It reminds me of the Rooney saga in 2013 - British, Mourinho publicly speaks about it, and like with United my feeling is that Everton will not give up.
