Rapkun 668
Jose only used him in the home games so far.Cahill dropped after the Spurs game. Zouma starts vs Newcastle. Home game.Cahill returns to the team vs Swansea. Away gameCahill again features in the COC game VS Liverpool. Away gameCahill and Zouma both play the FA cup game vs Bradford. Home gameCahill dropped for Zouma vs Liverpool. Home gameZouma starts again over Cahill vs City. Home gameI personally thought Cahill despite his chaotic performances was still more mature to deal with the pressure for chelsea than zouma for the time being, but the former failed to deliver in the easiest games after he was dropped (notably swansea and bradford) while the latter has proven to be very solid and consistent everytime he featured including liverpool and city games. If Zouma starts at Villa Park, it will be a huge sign. manpe
lionsden 4,689
So no need to spend 30 million on a CB. Cahill can be back up for a whileTerry isn't getting any younger and it's actually starting to show in his game. Zouma is Cahill's replacement long term (hopefully) We still need a longterm JT replacement. yuvala

MrBlueGuy 1,552
Must be approaching Chelsea Varane status soon? Seems to be heading the exact same way, apart from a couple of goals against Barcelona

Rekin 835
Brilliant tackles. After the pre-season I am a little bit afraid each time he goes down in the box, but instead he proves how much he has developed. If we can get a proper more ball-playing defender next to him with above average pace we will have an amazing pairing. I really hope he plays the majority of the games remaining. Barbara 15,149
He's been flawless in every match he played recently. He should be starting an away game soon in the future - probably against Burnley imo. And if he does well - and why wouldn't he? - it means Cahill will definitely be benched for good for the rest of the season.
