The squads are exactly how I expected them to be... our B team is better than their A mixed team. It doesn't mean we'll win, but that's just mouthwatering. The only place to be 11,313 Posted October 29, 2013 Share Posted October 29, 2013 We're still in an experimental phase and we have fringe players who need games so it's tough to throw young players in, especially away to Arsenal. The only disappointment I have is not seeing Kalas alongside Luiz, but there's a case to be made that Luiz and Cahill need to build a rapport because at the moment we just can't leave out JT.The bench is a slightly different story and I'd have liked to see other options there but Jose likes winning cups and this is the first opportunity we'll have.Last year we were crying out for this type of depth. The amount of talents we have who are going to be brilliant players once they mature is amazing. RLC, Boga, Brown, Feruz, Baker, Ake, Christensen. Quite crazy, the abundance of talent we have. No wonder our team are always up there to win the youth cup and I expect them to be back at it again. He has played very well recently which is why he is unlikely to start tonight because he has earned starts in the major competitions with his performances.I strongly disagree on Willian and Schurrle, both have been doing very well and impressed me, they turned a few draws into three pointers for us.Schurrle has done well but he hasn't been overly impressive.
