Him and boateng and we're the best team in the world

Jerome Boateng? thats equal to say lets get Neymar, Veratti, D.Silva or Kroos. That means A, one of the best players in his position and B, plays for one of the best-richest clubs.

We do need to find a CB, somewhere else. Not Varane too, Real arent that suckers.

Verratti > Koke >>Pogba

Verratti is almost impossible, so Koke would be a great signing.

FUCK NO. Verratti is the bigges cunt, but Koke is better.

I don't think his transfer would be impossible.

I don't think his transfer would be impossible.

Ok but why? Bayern know he's one of the very best, he's pretty young, and Pep likes him. Only a really amazing offer will maybe get him out of there, I'm talking 50m pounds but even that isn't sure, Bayern are filthy rich.

I don't think it's smart to pay this kind of money on a CB, when you see what Roma did in the last few seasons. They got three great CBs for little money season after season. Great CBs can be found almost everywhere. Mainly because the standart is quiet poor this days.

Matic is more of a destroyer...

Busquets is the best short passing cm in the world. Rakitic is not like koke at all for barcelona. Rakitic as someone else mentioned does all the donkey work for barcelona in the midfield. Iniesta and cesc could not be anymore different.

Having a pivot of matic-koke with cesc in the n10 role would allow teams to attack the middle a lot easier on the counters. None of the three are particularly fast and cesc wouldn't be able to hold up pressing in the n10 role that Jose requires. If this was a different manager, it would make sense, but not Jose Mourinho.

If anything, I can see this in big games

Matic-Koke

Ramires-willian-hazard

Ramires can cover for ivan on the right side and allow willian to press all day long, giving hazard and costa the main outlets scoring goals in general play.

Rakitic doesn't just do the dirty work lol, Rakitic is always willing to break the lines and get in the box as well interchanging with Busquets if he decides to advance further up the pitch, he is actually quite a key component to that system because Iniesta isn't as mobile a player or as willing to get into the box as much as Rakitic is and he is quite adept at playing in that sitting role having played there previously in his career.

Koke should come in as a replacement for Oscar tbh.

It is quite funny reading this thread along with the Messi thread in the optimism in some members thinking there's a chance of us actually signing either of them.

Nothing wrong with optimism. Unless you are a sports fan from Chicago.

Simeone extending, I can see Koke staying in atletico for some time too tbh. They play CL, Liga and they get far in both comps nowdays.

Certain managers have huge impact on players and Koke might well be that one who will be most loyal of them all. Could be wrong though.

Already happened. He rejected Barcelona.

Doesn't mean he won't change his mind this summer. Costa rejected Liverpool a year before joining us, obviously Barcelona is far bigger but for some players sometime it is better to develop a bit more before jumping on a big ship.

Offer him 150k per weeks and 50m to Atletico and who knows...maybe we might offer Oscar in exchange or something/on loan with option to buy like Salah.

What does Chelsea offer to Koke that Atletico doesnt'?
