The only place to be 11,313 Posted March 20, 2014 Share Posted March 20, 2014 In some situations, where say the oppo are defending well and we need to be tactful to win the game Eto'o will come on, whereas if the oppo are commiting men forward and leaving a crazy amount off space in behind Lukaku will come on.Huh? If the opposition are committing men forward and leaving space then why wouldn't we be able to score with just Costa up top? In fact it's been when teams defend deep late on that Eto'o has provided very little for us. Look at the West Ham game for example and how we could've done with a more direct presence in the box.If we got Costa then you'd expect him to start 75% of the games, which only leaves 10 or so starts for the other strikers. We only need to comply with FFP. And we are doing that with FT (200), etoo (150) and ba (80).Next seadon if our strikers are costa-lukaku-etoo then it would be costa (100-150), etoo (150) and lukaku (30-50).
