Popular Post! The Skipper 20,609 Posted September 3, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted September 3, 2013 I love how this signing has practically gone under the radar now.Eto'o will shock a lot of opposition fans (and our own) this season. He's still a very, very good player. bababoom, Chelsea Legend 11, Milan and 5 others
Popular Post! zolayes 14,489 Posted September 3, 2013 Popular Post! Barbara 15,149
amazing link up, good vision, his first touch is one of the best (in strikers) I've seen and his finish is still quite good - based on what I've watched from Russian League last season. I don't think he'll be a 'matador' for us, but we have so many guys with good finishing that will benefit from his linkup and he himself will also have chances to finish and hopefully score. As I said - in agreement to Muzchap - strikers don't have the easiest time to score in our defenses, so while he won't be the guy with a lot of pace we have that on Hazard, Willian, Kevin, André and they can run and do things similar to our first goal against Bayern. It's somewhat a relief to have someone that is still good. Maybe even Torres will benefit a bit from it. One can hopeLast comment: that sort of talent and class one is born with, can't develop with years - only improve, but it has to be there in the first place and it never goes away. thankfully zolayes, The Skipper and bluesman2610

THIS!!!! I love this line.. I know former international players that coach the kids around my area who are well into the 50s and can play the game just as good as anyone today they may not have the pace or stamina anymore but the touch never leaves zolayes and Barbara

OneMoSalah 8,886
Good to see people aren't just thinking hes a back up signing. He was signed to start, still has that pace and excellent first touch hes always had. More experienced now than he was 5 or 6 years ago too. The Mak 4,459
Thing I love the most is that he never stands still. Always calling for the ball, finding space or stretching the defence. That in itself is a big step up from the blonde statue we have... Pizy 18,916
He does look an absolute class above anything we currently have in that video doesn't he?If nothing else at least now we'll have a striker who isn't scared to have a shot unlike Timid Torres. I think he'll be a major coup for us.

Steve 10,227
When those comments were said he was young and immature. I'm sure he would of matured a little by now and as long as he scores I don't care what he's said. Also Rafa said the same and he did everything he could to win us trophies. AndersonBLUE 819
Don't give a damn what he said years ago, people change. If he puts in good performances and works hard then he will be great. It's not like he has bitten one of our players (Suarez).
