Alabama 1,992
Then good bye Willian...he doesn't deserve 6 months let alone 3yrs... Hello Havertz or Benhrama...
SUNZ 155
He'll be 32 in less than a month. He isn't getting a 3 year contract lol.

Maybe I'm missing something here but how come a deal of 2 years + 1 year as an option has not been mentioned? If Willian does stay on, I'd wager if he might influence our transfer purchases *coughkaicoughhavertzcough* and may well block the path of CHO on that RW. For all the talk of blocking path of Callum I have  been disappointed most of the time hes played this season under Frank. I know he had the injury but still felt he could do more. And with Ruben. They were at higher levels last season with probably similar amounts of game time prior to Sarri giving them a proper run. Fernando
Special Juan 28,141
Willian at Arsenal is getting hotter and hotter. Chelsea are still trying to negotiate to secure the Brazilian, but the Gunners’ figures are very optimistic about the signing. (via @brunovicari ) #CFC #AFC #THFC Rumours are that it is £250k x 3 years. So, £39m or £40m with bonuses minimum. At that price, we shouldn't be re-signing him. I personally would love him to sign for 1 year but a £40m hit is too much, especially as he is not exactly the most athletic player. One bad injury and he is probably done. If the £250k figures are correct, then signing a Bena from Brentford makes sense. He would probably be something like £30m plus £60k a week (he will be on peanuts at Brentford). That would work out at about £42.5m for four years and you have a asset that you can sell on. Willian is a sunk cost as soon as he signs.
Magic Lamps 11,692
Let him block the path of Saka and Nketiah at Arsenal. Strike 7,492
Should have been rotated at some point. This one's on Lampard since Callum has been coming on and showing he's fitter, hungrier in few games now OneMoSalah

If its down to a lack of trust in the others okay but it was something I mentioned a lot before and feel it has played a part when they dipped at points. Strike

Lampard just seems to be obsessed with Willian and will play him in every game even if it means running him to the ground. Strike and killer1257

Special Juan 28,141
There is absolutely no denying he's been very good since the restart, but this is Willian in a nutshell, some good, lots of average and shit shot in there also. He should in no way be offered another deal here, move him on, we can cope without him. Last night Souness mentioned something that was a typical non watching Chelsea fan would say.. "He's there best player by far" no, no he isn't and it is easy to say that when not watching every game you nob head. He's hasn't been as consistent as Mount and Kovacic and no where near the level of Pulisic. There is this weird notion from commentators that he is some sort of absolute elite footballer, he's decent, that's about it. Fernando 6,585
Just like Malouda, one great season where everyone was dazzled by him and we kept him and never sold him. I just knew Willian would be similar to Malouda. kellzfresh
