BleedsBlue 1,549
Absolutely love his attitude and commitment to the team. No World Cup winner bullshit attitude in him. I am sure he'll get firing for us soon. Atlas Lion
Popular Post! Henrique 9,133 Posted September 14, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted September 14, 2014 No doubt he got many fans after the WC, but he is slowly returning to his regular form. Important an useful player, but not the undisputed starting XI as his fans want him to be. MrBlueGuy 1,552
Who does he reminds us of...not a shit bench player, not a super star regular starter. Someone who will do the job, better Kalou for now? although he got the potential to become a regular though, just need to be more decisive, clinical because he got physical attributes(pace, skill, work rate, shot...etc)Basically he is someone who does his job well, just need to step up to a next level aka Reus level to become a regular for us. I fell for the WC hype but he wasnt exactly amazing for us before the WC and he has settled back to that form with the odd glimmer of great football. I think Willian offers much more, especially defensively. Henrique and BlueLion.

Thor 2,711
He is great to have coming off the bench, but he isn't a player you have in your starting 11 on a regular basis in my opinion. We should use him the way Germany did; super sub. He's far too selfish and doesn't fit the mold in the build up play at times. Like someone said, he is great for countering and when we are running down the wings. If we want to break teams down, we are best off with him on the bench. I think most games have reflected that, and we have performed better when he was taking a seat. Still, he is a big time player, and like I said, when we are in need of a more counter attacking game, he is perfect and lethal for it. kellzfresh
Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
We don't have Schurrle on the squad to dribble past people and link the attack. We have a squad, each player has different skills to bring to the table. Schurrle stretches defenses and provides direct runs to exploit teams on the counter. He's an average finisher though... BlueLion. 21,491
Loew got the best of Schurrle by using him as an impact sub. After 60 minutes of having to chase shadows, the last thing the opposition want to see is a direct, pacey winger who is composed at finishing. I think José needs to continue along that route. I think José needs to continue along that route.I kind of agree somewhat but some of his best performances for us was when he was starting. This includes City(H), Stoke, Psg, Fulham(he was completely shit in the first half for this) and he did fine at Burnley too. I think he is a good choice to start although his last performance has been crap. He is an ideal person to have in the squad imo since he is hardworking and doesn't complain publicly. If we only use him as an impact sub, then I doubt he will stay for very long here.
OneMoSalah 8,886
Hes a system player. If Jose wants to play a more reactive counter attacking style then Andre's his man. Some of his off the ball runs are still class though as we seen against Burnley. Hes still gonna improve, hes not exactly a shite footballer either is he? Rapkun 668
I think Andre could have helped us more than Willian on wednesday. His movement, crosses, and most especially finishing was missed. He's more likely not going to start at the Etihad, so that would've made sense. nyikolajevics
