BlueLyon 9,359
I think all our CBs are more passive than agressive, Terry, Cahill, Iva while Kalas and Zouma are very inexperienced. Maybe Jose wants a CB who is explosive, mobile, dynamic, fast and no-nonsense. Mangala, Benatia or Varane are such CBs.Wouldnt mind him, but that price realy is bit too high. 25 at max. Symbol123 175
Imagine a CB pair of Zouma-Mangala, a midfield duo of Matic-Pogba, with Costa and Lukaku up front. We'd have to be the most physically intimidating team in Europe, if not the galaxy

BlueLyon 9,359
Way too much, but that gives you quality today I guess. Mangala is perfect for City, he will evolve in top CB, Kompany-Mangala looks very strong.
bababoom 4,478
32? No way, Verane is better imo and much cheaper. Isn't Mangala prone to making mistakes? he's young and talented but way too expensive.
oldportblue 547
he's better than zouma, other than the transfer fee, don't know why we didn't go for him...

It's impossible to compare them fairly.
oldportblue 547
Zouma is three years younger and plays in a stronger league than Mangala. It's impossible to compare them fairly.Well mangala played CL whereas zouma didn't so in fact mangala played in a higher level of competition... But regardless, i just go by the eye test and what i see and i rate mangala higher...Zouma should be good as well and maybe he makes more sense for the future seeing as jt still has at least teo years in him imo and that would have meant mangala sitting on the bench until jt is gone... Just hate to see such a good player being partnered with kompany... At least mangala said he preferred us lol

Pizy 18,961
Seems strange that Sakho (who looked pretty shit at Liverpool) starts over him for France.Won't say he's overrated. I think he's got the talent and ability to be a beast of a defender. Think he and Kompany will form a great partnership once he settles in there. Doubt we're even considering him at this point. Just lazy journalism at work here.
