Yes, Chelsea can do that. However, you are getting just a half the player of Mangala.

Mangala is considered as a long term replacement for JT. His physical attributes are irreplaceable & no Kalas or Omerou are even close to it. I agree at 40m way too much, but what´s too much for Roman ?

That's very much debatable. They're all good young players and there is absolutely no guarantee who will become the better player.

Point is, we are not in any way desperate enough to pay 40m for him.

I'd love to have him as an understudy to JT but not at 40 mil, Marquinhos who is -albeit a different sort of defender - the better talent went for less than that.
