This is football gone mad. 50M is the new 30M and 64M is the new 45M

Thing is with this is it isn't what they need, they need another two/three players

Unfortunately, they'll surely be buying at least one more midfielder.

There is literally zero chance a manager of Van Gaal's quality continues with the likes of Cleverly and Fletcher in there.

If it's Vidal it'll go a long way.

Their defense will likely still be a streaming pile of shit, but with Vidal & Herrera in midfield with the attacking players they have up top they may be able to do a Liverpool and just out score everyone. They'll concede 2-3 per game but score 4-5 themselves.

This is a team that missed out on CL football who have bought Herrera and Shaw and Rojo. 64M on Di Maria doesn't solve a lot, it's panic button pressing. Look at what we did, we bought where needed for three positions with a very good amount spent. Take what United will spend including Di Maria and tell me that is not panic?

The balance in that United team is all over.

Remember their last league title year?

They had a shit defense, (even lukaku got a hatrick in old Trafford) but vanpersie scored winners and they won the league with 89points.

If they add vidal, they won't win the league, (that's for us :P ) but they'll challenge.

Unbelievable? Look at what they're paying for him. It's a good buy but I wouldn't say it's unbelievable.

they can afford it. they have monster sponsor deals and are one of the highest selling teams in terms of jerseys. yes, they overpaid, but nobody will talk about the money if he'll succeed there.

Di Maria is one of the best wingers in the world, but terribly inconsistent and frustrating. His dribbling is amazing and he has a good shot and pace but he is NOT better than Hazard. He's not worth what United will pay and he won't win them the league.

I'm guessing Van Gaal won't use the 3-5-2?

That is what they call abandoned ship.

He should work with is 352. It a difficult time for van gaal this is a bitter pill to swallow
