Man United v Chelsea

As I've said before, we shouldn't be relying on Tottenham and Arsenal to screw up, they have very winnable games remaining. Saying that - our destiny is still within our own hands. We beat United tomorrow and we beat Tottenham on Wednesday; we're practically top 4 as we'll be 6 pts ahead of Tottenham with 2 games remaining - due to our goal difference there would be no way Tottenham would catch up unless they went AWOL in their last two games (assuming we lost those, which I don't think will happen).

2 cup finals ahead basically. If we don't win at least either, especially the latter, then we don't deserve top four.

Yes, that is true but think we could have done with some favors from elsewhere just to give us some breathing space, if you like. Things maybe in our hand overall but you stil never know what's gonna happen with our results. One dodgy moment in a game could change the result altogether.

I just wish it was so easy on the pitch as it is on the paper.

Haha! I know it's going to be a proper battle but our players should be really motivated to get this wrapped up as soon as possible. We can't rely on other teams to do us a favour. If qualification is out of our hands then I fear the worst.

A draw tomorrow and Wednesday still takes us to 3rd, cant see AFC taking full points from Wigan and Newcastle, also Spurs have Stoke and sunderland. If we get 8 points from 12 available points we are good however 4 from from OT and Spurs might just guarantee 3rd imo

After scrappy wins for both Norf London spivs today, this game is big, very, very big. After 20 years of doing blinding at Old Trafford, that has all tailed off very badly in the last ten years. Monumental week ahead.

I hate the thought, hate it, but, consider this, If we lose against Man Ure, and the Yids turn us over at the Bridge, can you imagine them lot celebrating like never before? in our manor? That, should be enough motivation in itself.

If it wasn't for that disappointing lose against Southampton and last minute draw against those scum we would have been challenging for the 2nd place tomorrow..

Think the killer part is actually throwing away those 2-0 leads against Southampton and Reading. With that additional 4 points, we would have been sitting 4 clear of Spurs right now, 2 ahead of Arsenal and just 3 points behind Man City.

i think we will draw tomorrow and beat spuds on Weds

Sounds good to me.

If we can get a win, then it relieves the pressure a little bit as Wednesdays game wouldn't be as "must not lose" as it it would be if we don't win.

I think we should be able to beat tottenham. But if we can get the job done on United. We have a 3 points gap with better goal difference. So "IF" the worst was to happen on Wednesday we would effectively, still be leading them, and have it in our hands.

4 points from our next 2 games and we are pretty much there. Hopefully united come out with a Cba attitude and had a few too many drinks last night.

A.Ferguson: "Lampard is fantastic, he’s an incredible player. If he gets to the 202-goal record at #CFC it will be a fantastic achievement."

A.Ferguson on Lampard: "I looked at him when he was at West Ham as a young player and I have regretted not doing the deal ever since."

He sounds just like Harry Redknapp with that typical "I could have signed him" comment....

must not lose game for me... will be hard no matter what how un-motivated the united side would be... they will have 70000 fans screaming for them to give their 100%... a draw should be a good result and a win would be out-of-this-world result for me... we just should not start the game slowly and fall 2 goals behind and give ourselves a mountain to climb... line-up seems pretty straight-forward to me

cech

azpi luiz iva cole

mikel rambo

moses mata hazard

BA.

no oscar as he seems lost on the wings whereas moses has been playing really good and his pace can trouble evra... no lamps as united use his lack of pace really well... torres vs BA is no brainer...
