Ramires has a decision makin of a five year old in the 18 yard box. :clown: excellent energy though

Mata crosses today = shit (nuff said)

Oscar dissapeared 2nd half

Torres... Nothin new

Ba missed a sitter :fainthv9: but did more than torres

But I'm glad we got the double over arsenal.

I choose to remember the good: we kicked their ass BIG TIME the first half. This is the level we are going to when we find our consistency :-)

Nice prospects that make this transition year tolerable (Torres leaving would be an extra bonus - 10 bonuses actually)

Move on!

1- Great, great match by Ramires, easily the motm.

2- Torres had another poor game, but to be honest Ba missed an open goal, and even Kalou would have scored that.

3- I really dont know why we still have people talking about how crazy is Chelsea to let Lampard go.

4- Another abysmal game from Ivanovic, he let Wallcot play in his back the whole match, we were lucky that the englishmen was in off side too many times. We still have people saying Ivanovic is reliable...

5- In the second half we were under pressure, then Bertrand came, and someone said Benitez was stupid because we needed a striker...people should at least complain for the right reasons, a striker was the last thing we needed.

About the point 5, if you are under pressure, a striker is a huge asset. To win a header, to hold the ball, to make some run... all of it help the defence to rest and reorganize. Torres was not making much for the team, the team needed a man up front.

Arsenal fans are actually blaming the ref and one of them actually said that it was not a pen!

-We should have had a pen inside 30 secs

-Their keeper (won't try to spell his name) should have been sent off for their goal

-Yes there was foul right before our first goal, but the exact same happened before their goal

-The were give a couple of dangerous FK that were never a foul by Cole.

Classless moaners just like their manager.

Cahill was indeed more solid than Iva throughout the game, but he could've costed us the game in the 5th minute when Giroud loses him very easily and has a sitter, which he (thankfully) missed.

I agree Ramires decision and technique can be subpar at times (not against Barca though:P) but it's NOT a case that he is just "hard working." It's a bit more than that. He can dominate games physically with pace and even strength. He caused Arsenal players so much grief today that I almost felt sorry for them.

What the fuck? we still won stop crying about Rafa.

Honestly what the fuck is wrong with some people, we win but no we must criticize Rafa still......

I tell you why 90% of this forum is still not happy about Rafa despite the win is beacause if we had started with Ba we would have probably been 4-0 by half time given the chances and positions we got into attacking wise. No, Rafa decides to start with his golden boy and instead we go in 2-0 up at half time. Then Walcott scores after Torres just flops over like a puppet clown and he still didn't bring our stronger and more in form striker. This nearly cost us another 2-0 lead at home when the change was soo apparent to over a few million Chelsea fans. That's why people are pissed off with a wanker who once called us wooden fans with no passion a man who is meant to be a world class manager. It is as simple and obvious as that.

Ba would have made little difference, the problem was in the mid, if it was a case where Torres was receiving long balls and failling to to retain it I would understand. I really dont know how choosing a defender over a CF when you are winning a match, under pressure and when there are no more than 15 minutes left is a stupid move as you were suggesting.
