Fernando Torres

What i don't understand is i don't think there is one single Chelsea fan that harbors any hope of Essien being even half the player he use to be but there is still some that have this false hope for Torres

He is fine for backup I'd rather sell ba. Mourinho might bring him back lol

What we have to look at is neither are good enough to be first choice, so who would be a better fit as a squad player?

Who earns less wages? Ba

Who is less likely to sulk at being left out? Ba

Who has a better attitude? Ba

Who's better? Ba, only god knows how that's even debatable

And who wont start moaning if he dont get some playing time? Ba (which would give Lukaku some time on the pitch. As long as Torres is in the club Lukaku has no future here)

Getting rid of him will be harder than any big transfer.

All these quotes flowing out about how he can't wait to play under Jose.

If he tries to get into bed with Jose he will be waking up with Dermot Drummy.

'There's talk an speculation about my future every summer. I've got three years left so my future is at Chelsea,' said Torres.

'I've not spoken to anyone from Chelsea (about my future). I will have the chance to talk with the manager and the club, but until right now nothing has happened.
Sell him Jose!!!

The first couple of pages....

So much hype so much happiness and so much money.

And still want to spend big on another striker......

Comparing Torres to Cavani is like comparing Roy Hogsdon to Mourinho.

Just because we got burned by Torres don't mean it will happen again, if it was Rooney we signed then it probably would but Cavani is the best forward in world football, if we don't get him and City do we will live to regret it.

At the end of the day if the club see fit to sell him then they will do so I will not be worried either way. But I don't worry about the financial side as that is the boards job. If cavani comes lukaku is finished here either way as I see it.

Pew! Didnt read this. I thought his talk about staying meant that he had discussed with the club, but now i understand that it was all bullshit. Jose is probably just planning how to make tell Torres he is not in his plans as painful as possible. I mean even Lukaku said that he had talked with Mourinho.

'I have had a good conversation with Jose Mourinho, and I know it's up to me to show I'm worth a place. It is the World Cup next year, and I need to be playing. But if I don't get in the Chelsea team often enough, then I won't deserve to be in the national squad.

He cannot be in the squad next season. Either we find a suitor for him and he leaves for good, or we find him a club to go to on loan who will pay half of his wages, a move like that will save us £5m next year, which could pay for a squad player or a talented young player somewhere in the globe.
