Fernando Torres

We shouldn't be paying half of anyone's wages.

Should get rid of him in whatever way possible. Obviously should get the best financial deal out of it as possible, but you know what, this might just be it considering what a shithouse of a player he is.

I do agree in principle, but he's on so much and he probably has so little value right now that it's a risk we probably need to take. Best case scenario is that we reduce his cost to us in wages next year by half (£3-4 million is a lot to a club who were only in profit in 2012 by £1.4 million) and then sell him next season.

If he goes for £10 million next year then he cancels out his amortised FFP figure for that season and saves us potentially £7-8 million in wages meaning we're saving over £15 million in 2015-16.

I wouldn't like it if inter only pays half of his wage, but I'd take anything right now if it means not seeing him wearing our shirt next season. Hopefully he'd be able to do better in serie a and maybe then inter might be crazy enough to buy him.

Inter directoricon1.png Piero Ausilio told Corriere dello Sport they will offer the Blues striker the chance to resurrect his flagging career at the San Siro.

"Yes, he is a player we're following. Torres's career speaks for itself — the titles he has won and the teams in which he has played. It's all about whether he has the right motivation and the desire to be part of a new ambitious project," he told Corriere dello Sport.

why dont we do an "essien" on him. 2 year loan deal with inter paying his wages. no transfer fee. atleast we ll be saving 9mil on wages and the most important thing -WE WILL BE SAVING THE CLUB.

Well Essien got lucky, Mourinho wanted him & Essien wanted to reunite with Mourinho at Real. Seedorf and Essien are also good friends so that's why Milan took him.

So unless Benitez wants Torres.. :whistling:

We'll be lucky if Inter even want to pay 5% of his wages...
