When Lamps was last out of the team and we had a pen, Torres took it against Sunderland and scored which is why I think he had the confidence to take another.

yeah but it wasn't that crucial. If I remember correctly we were already 1-0 up and had more than a half to go. This game, one goal and we would have been out, the penalty should have been converted. And when u got such a crucial penalty why do not let it be taken by more prolific penalty takers than torres?

Fair enough.

Hazard should have taken the pen imo but at least he stepped up to take one, because he wouldn't even consider taking one before... It didn't cost us anything and I dont think he will get the next one, if Lamps isn't on the pitch, it will be hazard or David Luiz.

I hope he goes on a tear and scores a load of goals to finish the season. Only because I want other clubs to think "he's back" and take him. He can go for a cup of coffee for all I care. Typical Torres, scores a goal then misses another.

LOL if he goes on a scoring run then instead of selling him we will make him our undisputed starting striker again next season and will loan lukaku out leaving us with only 2 fit strikers. It will be deja vu.

He did well last night, but in a small period. First half and some of the second he wasn't busting a gut to get into the box and doing what he does best, that's jog alongside and close to a defender.

I am still very worried about him, and you won't get me jumping through hoops about him.

Torres back? No, don't get carried away.
