Styles 9,790
RDM on Torres: "If I believe it is the right thing to do for the team, then yeah, I will leave him out," #CFCOh yes, There is God. That's just nonsense. RDM is trying to give the impression that he has a choice. It's clear as day he has no control over Torres. People above him insist that he plays and he does what he's told.Torres will start every game unless he is injured/suspended. RDM allowed himself to be dictated to at the start of the season, he can't man up now all of a sudden. It's too late.
Rmpr 8,977
If he really believe it was the right thing to do, he would have dropped Torres 2-3 matches ago...Not really.Maybe Sturridge was not 100%, he did not see him performing for more than 10 minutes, still trusted Torres, etc. RDM is with the team everyday, there is always things he sees that us (fans) dont. botswana 0
Hello everyone. Been reading your posts just out of curiosity, being a Juventus fan. One thing I find interesting. Nobody seems to be mentioning the fact that you need just a draw tomorrow night (I give you three points vs Nordsjelland as granted). Typical English spirit. All my admiration for you. In italy we tend to think about the math far too much. For instance, if a draw comes out tomorrow night, Juventus would still have a chance to go through by winning in Ukraine. I just hope ths will not invade juventus players' mind if the result is something like 1-1 and 15' minutes to go. Winning in Ukraine could prove far too difficult for just about anyone

I'd take qualification in second place but if the team gets a team like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund etc then we could have a very slim chance of going through. So don't expect us to do you any favour in the final match in Donetsk :-)psThe way the groups are developing, it looks like this year won't make much of a difference being first or second. Some teams have had up and down results. Like Real Madrid. I think its mathematically possible that we can still finish top of the group so hopefully two wins from two would put us there (depending on Shaktar though)! If Shaktar draws with Nordsjaelland and you beat Shaktar, then you are through. But of course your chances to advance if you lose to Chelsea are quite minimal, but anything can happen. Juve have very effective wing backs this is what's best since they need the win more than we do. Any other set up (esp offensive one) means we will be SLAUGHTERED and moreover with this formation we still hve our three creative players on. Why not use a WINGER on the wing now that we have one? And if we want to play more defensively we dont have to play players out of position. Bertrand usually does a decent job offensively and a great job defensively on the wing, he could be an option even if he hasnt been that great lately. Playing another formation is also an option. However, playing players out of position is just dumb now that we dont need to.MikelRamires - OscarMoses----------MataSturridgeThat is a bit more defensive. botswana 0
Latest news from Turin. Vucinic has been training today. He's available for the match. This said, we'll probably know who's playing up front only within minutes from the start. The rest of the team will probably show no surprise. Tough game ahead. Should be a good one to watch. Cheers folks!
