Spike 12,049
Hazard would crush their [Twattenhamafadnjfs] wage structure.End of discussion.
Blue Armour 4,439
Guys , the chances of Hazard joining spurs are the same as me joining Barca !! first of they won't have the money for it , they won't be able to offer him half of our offered salary , and the lad strokes me as the ambitious kind of player who is looking to join one of the top clubs in the world not a 3rd placed team at its best. And worst case scenario we don't get hazard there is still a whole lot of other amazing talents outthere Gotze , Neymar , Lucas , Gaitain , Lavezzi , Hamsik comes to mind , i wouldn't worry if he chose another club than us but i will worry if we chose a Willian kind of player other than HazardHow do you know their wage structure will remain the same? They are after all, qualifying for the CL, and most likely getting 3rd spot in the EPL. It could actually improve
Slam Dunk 1,442
Bale would work at Barca as a left back and with Abidal getting on it would be a good move. It's what we should have done when we were amoungst the best in Europe, strengthened and evolved the team while we were on top.Bale isn't a left back anymore. These days he's playing CAM when he can haha. If they want a LB/LM player (like Coentrao), they'll sign Alba for that.
Severinb 309
I hope the stupid spurs rumours will motivate our club to tie the deal up soon!
ack17 205
We already got superstar kevin de bruyne, so we don't need him.

Bosnian Blue 2,471
"The opportunities would be much smaller. The competition would be strong at Tottenham too, but less so that at Barca or Real."Come to Chelsea, we've got no competition at all. Spike 12,049
Oh, come on. Why are people are worried about Tottenham? They are just a flash in the pan.It won't be long before their players start asking for a wage rise; a wage rise Tottenham can't afford even with CL spots. And guess what; all their best players will end up at the Manchester Clubs within 3 years.
laeth 527
I'd be slight annoyed if Spurs sign Hazard... only a little >.>
manpe 10,861
Can't blame him, current tottenham side is better than us and more likely to achieve something.
LDN Blue 7,903
Indeed manpe. They are guaranteed CL football (so it seems), we are 80% to be without manager come June and probably with Europa League..
Santiago. 1,500
If we finish 4th, with a good CL run and an Fa cup title, it would be a good season
nadavTKL 1,787
I just dont understand why Sky Sports are telling the story in that way."Hazard also dropped a huge hint Spurs had won the race for his signature, as he added: "The transfer is still pending.I have not signed anything yet, but I hope it will happen in the near future." "Why are they so sure he talked about a transfer to Spurs? i think he talked about a transfer to another club in general, thats how it sounds to everyone i think. A bit wierd, seems like they just wanted to bring a big story... uncharacteristic for Sky.
LDN Blue 7,903
Do you think they plan on off-loading Modric to us? I know they don't necessarily play the same position, but it could happen. Not unless they lack complete ambition. Plus why would Modric do that now? Summer was the chance, and we blew it. That window of opportunity (pun intended) is closed now. United is the only destination for him now.
