Fuck, is he really another winger turned attacking midfielder? Are all good wingers going to become attacking mids now? Soon wingers will be the new full-backs - low in quality numbers but high in demand. The same shit is with de Bruyne, apparently he's better in the middle rather than on the left, his original position.

Anyway, we could play a dynamic 3 in the 4-2-3-1, with the wingers and the trequartista given free roles to drift into each other's positions.. that should keep everybody happy and the opposition's pants wet.

He has said he preferred to play in the CAM position but willing to play in the wings.

Yes, for this season at least. But he is a Attacking Midfielder if he wants to play as a winger daily then Chelsea is what he needs. Anyway he is brilliant either way, very versatile.

how are we in terms of debt, dont we have loads of it as well im confused on our financial situation, sometimes i hear we r stable and others i hear the day roman leaves we r doomed

Roman has for all intensive purposes loaned us the money, probably an elaborate tax avoidance scheme. ?

^ Not if he wants to replace Mata..

He can/should only be signed as a winger, we have a winger crisis. Unless these supposed quotes about him wanting to play elsewhere were fabricated.

Don't worry about that.

He can play:

- Central Mid,

- Attacking Mid, Left Wing and Right Wing

- Right and Left Forward

He normally ends up dropping on the wing on most occasions if he's starting Central attacking midfielder from every game I've seen. It's clear that his opportunities at Chelsea are by far the greatest.

Wouldn't worry too much about that. He can start on the wing with Mata in CAM and then constantly rotating positions in games and when you consider the possibility of Marin or Hulk on the other flank...

s

Acctualy he played the forward position all trough the youth teams, then he needed to play on the wing in his first seasons with the first team. And last 10 or so games of last season he could play on his favorit position with succes..

I like him at both positions, but probably midfield is his best, still i think Cfc has bought him for the wing..

That's why if Roman leaves this club, we could be wiped from football within a week, because i don't think anyone would tackle our debt we have on this club, even though it's not concerning now but when he leaves i don't think anyone will touch the debt the club has.

The debt is in the form of loans to Roman. If he sells the club he would either have to sell it with the loans or wipe them off the balance sheet.

Technically he could call in the loan when ever he wants. But doing so would destroy an incredible valuable asset (we must be worth £600-800 million).

Long story short is he is going nowhere, he doesn't need the money, he enjoys football, he probably loves the club (given how often he manages to attend).

And off course when one of the two is out.. you have two classy players for that position..

Yes. If everything goes to plan, we'll have options and quality ones at that for the first time in years!

top 3 now is it... i feel like we're on the voice or something, next thing you know he'll be announcing who the top 2 finalists are...

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he did do an elimination interview to tell us who's in the final for Eden....bored already

Arrogant fucker touting this club and that club through the media -he'll fit right in at SW6

‘I do not know when a decision will be made about my future club," he told the Belgian media after training with the national side. It will be between Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea. The final choice also depends on how much play that I would get and the position where I play. Not everyone can say that he can choose from these three clubs.’

‘I am pleased to be able to play in my best position behind the striker, as a no.10, with Belgium. It’s now up to me to be as clinical with the national team as I was with Lille. The coach gave me confidence and I want to return the favour on the pitch.’

From what I gather it was answering claims that Arsenal are in the race, he really isn't as arrogant as being touted.

And above is the quotes for those who wanted it ^ Scholes looks like hes going to extend, Kagawa looks imminent too. Their wing is rich with footballers but I guess you know City are out. Chelsea still yield the best opportunities, really is a toss of a coin. United are just favourites for me with Ferguson's influence tipping the balance, but their are so many factors. A comfort of playing with Belgian compatriots and being so close to home could be very, very important. He is a 21 year old and with a son so maybe the wages could tip the balance for us.
