Six years ago today, Eden Hazard was sent off against Swansea for kicking a time-wasting ball boy

First video in the article, he kicked the ball not the fat cunt laying on top of it.

With comments like these, it's little wonder that Hazard has never really improved and is just stuck at a good level with little consistency...

The first opinion I'm going to give in a moment is controversial although I have no idea why. The second probably isn't. To me they both seem like statements of the obvious.

- Players of Eden's age don't improve.

- All players are inconsistent.

he's too laid back and lazy to reach Messi and Ronaldo heights, not ruthless enough, its something we all have to accept and not even Sarri who helped Mertens be 20+ goal scorer can change Eden it seems. Shame really

Until, and unless, we dramatically change the status of our club, we won't attract, never mind hold on to, players at the level of Messi or Ronaldo. Eden is the peak level we can realistically aim for. If the traits you state above are accurate, then they are also the things which have allowed us to hold on to him for so long. We should be grateful for them.

Not everyonehmm will Eden start sulking or will he challenge himself and prove Sarri wrong?

Maurizio is the one with the work to do.

If everyone can be a leader then what have we all been doing going on about the outstanding leadership of people like JT, DD, SFL & PC? If Eden is not a leader, he can still be a difference maker for our team. Maurizio's job is to put in a system that allows Eden to do what he's good at, and then surround him with a supporting cast to make the most of it.

Maybe that's what Sarri is doing? Eden's contract is up in about 18 months with rumors about RM every single day. Eden speaking publicly once a week about his childhood dreams, how he hasn't made up his mind and how the future is uncertain etc etc. That's not the commitment and leadership a leader would radiate. Maybe Sarri is trying to challenge and provoke (but not in a combative way) Eden so he get his sh*t together and focus on the present. I mean, it's human behavior to drop in productivity and take on less responsibility if you doesn't even know where you are going or what is coming next for you.

Like, Sarri has been speaking about Hazards contract situation a couple of times and i think this is the next step in putting some pressure on him to focus on Chelsea and hopefully commit to us in the long term.

But the level of player we bought him at! Theres no way we could or would have attempted to buy WHEN we were pricing him at £200mill!!!

Its obvious we cant fill the team full of £100m players but I'd love it if we even tried our hardest to get one or 2 . Its getting that balance right of proven top talent, strength and yoof.

We have bought some very good players around the £35mill mark but we need to have a proper DOF and scouting system that works along side the manager and the board so everyones in some sort of agreement,

Unfortunately there's nothing much we can do to change Hazard. This is how he is, and he has been worldclass for us most times. We just need a new talisman who will have quality on the pitch and have the mentality to win every match. Once Hazard is secondary to someone else the players will look up to the main man instead of Hazard.

Unfortunately we have had no strikers who can take this mantle away (Costa was able to share the burden at times).

Matt Law also suggesting Real will be in for him this summer.... I hope the club is planning for him leaving and how to reshape the team because from these reports, the things Hazard has been saying recently, our form and the mood around the club, I think the most probable scenario is that Real will bid, Eden will respectfully ask to go and we will grant him that wish. I may be wrong but this is how I see it playing out, hope I'm wrong :/

Gonna be funny if/when he goes to Madrid and they continue to struggle like they have been.
