It looks like playing centrally has taken him up another level. Thank you Conte. Now, let’s sign him up for another 15 years, he’d probably still be amazing at age 40. What a talent. He’s so direct and purposeful this season. He’s finally maturing into a leader. We need to surround this guy with world class talent - he could truly lead a golden generation at CFC if we’re smart - but I’m scared these people at the top will just do the bare minimum. He seems happy here, he's totally settled with his young family in London, and we're building a team that can achieve anything soon enough. We simply cannot afford to lose him. Just a joy to watch him doing what he wants with the ball and the opposition, he loves scoring against newcastle and was just unlucky to get the hattrick today. I just wish him to continue in this way, keep the world class performances every week and Im sure the club will realise that making him the best paid player in PL is gonna worth it in order to keep him in Chelsea colours. Some forget Atletico away for example was only his 2nd full start after that injury.
