Chelsea are confident they can persuade Hazard to extend his current deal that runs to 2020. Talks started some time ago and more are expected before the end of the season when the Belgian will go to the World Cup. Real Madrid are long-term admirers of Hazard, but Chelsea have received no communication so far that the Spanish club are readying a bid.
manpe 10,861
You are all wrong, Hazard is better than Messi and Ronaldo. I don't need to bring any arguments to prove this, just watch him play.

Ask us who we'd rather have;Β theΒ majorityΒ should say Hazard.Β That has more to do with Barcelona fans disliking Neymar in general and Chelsea fans loving Hazard as per. MrExcalibur100 7,124
He looked a level above his teammates yet again. Hard to not get the feeling he's "outgrown" Chelsea when he's surrounded by players like Cahill, Willian, Bakaykoko and Zappacosta.Β blues.bridge

Jase 43,479
This thread is rather 'funny' after every match these days. On one hand, it's nice to see people praise Hazard all the way to the heaven and deservedly so. But on the other hand, it's utterly miserable to see some so keen to remind that he might be leaving the club. zakhov and Fernando

Jase 43,479
http://sportwitness.co.uk/hazard-opens-chelsea-situation-transfer-rumours-jokes-zidane-coming-stamford-bridge/ Speaking to Onze Mondial in France, the 26-year-old opened up about his situation at Chelsea, and, frankly, it doesnβt seem like heβs in a rush to go anywhere. He said: βFrom the moment things are going wellβ¦. When you change, itβs because they arenβt. If, in your job, everything is going well and youβre the boss, would you move? Why would you want to? Plus, you know the people, youβre happy. Thatβs what happened at Lille, I knew everyone, it was great. βThen, when I felt I needed to change, I left. There you go, at Chelsea, itβs the same thing. Iβm in my sixth year. My family is here. My wife and kids feel great. Iβm not far from Belgium so my family can come quite regularly. Iβm in a big club, and I win trophies pretty much every year.β Revealing he knows he might never win the Champions League, Hazard did admit he would love to be able to leave like Drogba, by helping the club lift the trophy. The forward also refused to make a statement on whether or not he was one of the greatest players in Chelseaβs history, even if he feels he might not be βtoo far offβ. Moving back to the rumours of an exit, Hazard was adamant to reiterate he βdoesnβt pay attention to them anymoreβ: βIβm here for now, Iβm trying to finish the year as best I can. After that, Iβll have two years left on my deal. Weβll see what happens.β Hoping to carry on his career at βthe highest levelβ, the Chelsea forward also revealed he will stop when his body tells him its time, and will never play just for the sake of it. As for the whole wanting to be managed by Zinedine Zidane thing, why would that mean he has to move to Real Madrid? Why canβt the Frenchman move to him? He said: βIβll speak to Chelseaβs board about that, weβll see (bursts out laughing). More seriously, for now, we have a manager whoβs there, and he isnβt a small one either. Itβs going to be hard to move him. Your question is pertinent, however. Iβll speak to the board about that.β Fernando and DYC.
Fernando 6,726
Yeah that is what I was thinking.Β He can stay here and become a legend like Drogba or go to Real Madrid and just be another of the players.Β I will stay and be like Drogba, but I will do it if the club is ambitious. So hold the club to being more aggressive in the transfer market.Β silviupastean
