Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
Poor performance. Clyne had him in his pocket the entire game. Don't know why he didn't switch with Willian to have a go at Milner. Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
Said it prematch, we win if he shows up... That's back to back matches where he was invisible. Not good enough when he's supposed to be our best player. I just can't tolerate watching him play when he isn't dictating play, it's just awful to watch him look pedestrian. There are two types of players, one who represents a thermometer(someone who follows the climate of the game) and the other is the thermostat who dictates the temperature of the fixture. Hazard, in my eyes, is a thermometer and not a thermostat. He doesn't take over games he responds to the game; reactive not active.

Good player who can win games by himself, but i no longer see him head and shoulders above other players in the premier league. He just doesnt consistently have the final pass or finish to rely on him as the match winner. In order to build a team that doesnt rely on one player so much we could cash in. I dont want him to leave, but his place is a quality player among others in the team. No doubt the loss and swansea is clouding my opinion and ill be eating my words soon enough. Mustafa

Weckerz 3,781
I hope he stays forever but for the sake of his career he should've left 2 season ago. This club clearly lacks the ambition or means to reach the top. Peace. and Fernando

Despite not appearing last game I still like him and is a great player. But can't get the best with such crap the board keep buying us. He would have been better at City right now with Pep, KDB, and Kun.

Clubs politics is terrible. For years we're shit covered with some lucky titles but reality is we are not a giant in England and definitely not a serious opposition in CL competition. Club have 3 options if doesn't want Roman project to continue to going backward like for many years. 1) Board, all the derectors change is like emergency call for Chelsea. 2) 4-5 new arrivals, not in attack or midfield (maybe one), but with instant impact which means fantastic players not some 4-th options. 3) Owner should go. Roquila 1,335
His younger brother is doing better than him. It's so fucking amazing how he can have 1-2 good games and then 5 bad games and still being put in a pedestial. And to the people who want us to sell him because he is wasting his prime years at us.... WTF? Since when do we put player careers over club achievement ? Really ?? Tautvix and MefiX19

AWorriedChelseaFan 151
Hazard should be the last player from this squad if we are planning to sell on, ridiculous some posts on here. Â I'd be furious if Chelsea sold Hazard and the likes of Oscar, Ivanovic and Cahill is still playing week in week out. He's just not the new Messi people envisioned he'd be. You can't fault a player for failing to meet the expectations you projected on him. Hazard has a couple of bad games and it's the end of the world. He's not reaching his potential, he lacks the hunger of a top player, he doesn't care enough, blah blah blah. The likes of Neymar, Reus, Bale, Sanchez, De Bruyne etc. go through bad spells as well. Whether that's a couple of consecutive games or (much) longer. I remember how Neymar was dominating in the first half of 15/16. He was a force and he was looking like a Ballon D'or winner. The level he reached in the 2nd half of the season was well below that though and no one is talking about him being the best player around anymore . It's completely normal. You can't perform at top level every game. Even Messi and Ronaldo can't do it but they can masque performances with goals (that's what makes them freaks) and the perpetual hype train makes sure poor performances are quickly forgotten. And Hazard has it worse by being surrounded decent attacking players and without the support of an offensively capable fullback. Chelsea is still rebuilding as well because the foundation of the team has been exposed. People seriously need a reality check. Two average games. What a disaster... He can't win games on his own. Pass the ball to Eden and let him do everything is not a sound gameplan. I'm not saying you can't criticise him but don't tell me he's not a top player. jernej93 569
People talking trash about Hazard don't have clue about football ... sorry to point it out  Hazard is one of the biggest attacking prospect of European football but our tactical system is "killing" him since day 1  Most of the days in our title season we had a simple tactic - pass it to Hazard and enjoy it! Not anymore guys, not anymore. We are not attacking in numbers and our attacking players apart from Costa are pretty much useless. They don't offer him to play one-two passes, they can't find him with through balls, they do nothing at all in terms of attacking. We should widen our attacking prospect with Fabregas in the middle and proper winger on the right side of the pitch that can actually cut inside and cause opposition some troubles (I rate Moses much higher than Willian in this aspect of the game). Oscar, Matić and Willian don't offer big things in terms of attacking and that is why 2 or 3 defenders are always tight marking Hazard as soon as he gets on the ball. At least proper full backs would be nice to offer some help down that left flank. But I can't see any of these happening anytime soon ...  Stingray and FabHazard
