iseah100 5,612
Only if we have a great player coming up after him. Just like we did with Mata and David Luiz. We thought they was going to stay here forever, but we found better players. If Hazard does good for the next 3 years and by then we have somebody that can challenge then yes we would sell him. But if he's our best player in the team, then there's no way we will sell him. He will never leave..[emoji35] Barbara

Difference between Luiz, Mata, and Hazard is that neither Luiz or Mata were potential Ball D'Or candidates. They were both players who provided a lot for Chelsea but neither had the potential to be the best player that Chelsea has ever had.Who knows maybe he leaves, but I don't think it is as cut an dried as some may think it to be. I think there's something special about becoming an all time legend at club as opposed to being one of many who will always be overshadowed by the other legendary greats irrespective of how good he performs. Popular Post! Chelsea Legend 11 4,062 Posted December 19, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted December 19, 2014 SIGN DI BLOODCLAAT TING NUH???Anyways I really think he will go on to be a club legend. We will have him for his prime years which is just fantastic news!!! I don't doubt that in two years time we will be talking about another extension... We need to win to keep him happy, Jose is a serial winner so I'm content. Now Eden needs to put the contract nonsense behind him and start putting in consistent world beater performances. Madmax 9,219
This Madrid talk is a non-starter under the current circumstances for any number of reasons. The boy and Mourinho have a fantastic relationship; the boss is almost paternal in the way he's going about nurturing Hazard into a bonafide world class player. Eden himself loves life here, has bought into our ethos and is hungry to achieve big things. He's being paid extremely well. Chelsea don't have a record of selling their key players ... in fact I'm struggling to name one such case. He may very well have dreamt of Madrid as a teenager but he strikes me as the type of guy who lives in the real world. Money talks and who's to say heads won't be turned if a crazy offer is placed on the table, but until then the club is on the up and this is the place to be. Who knows we win nothing, start next season badly, Jose get sacked and new manager comes in having a Jose-Mata situation again. Or he picks up a serious injury and does goes on a Torres style decline...etcI know he got lot of potential and will likely become a club legend, but nothing is written in stone yet. If everything goes to plan I think he will eventually be in top 3 Golden Ball nomination 3-4 years from now on.

Never, ever going to happen.Whatever it is Torres had that made him successful at Liverpool it wasn't talent. The man does not have elite level touch, hold-up, passing or dribbling. In terms of pure talent Torres is, and always has been, ordinary. His success at Liverpool must therefore have been built on a combination physical and mental readiness along with the right team tactics. Those are all things which can be lost/changed.Eden's success on the other hand, is based on talent and, as we know, class is permanent. Like all players, Eden's powers will eventually wane but it won't be the off the edge of a cliff type fall suffered by Torres. zolayes

Greyco 143
Eden Hazard has made more successful passes in the attacking third than any other Premier League player this season (450).http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/players/ea-sports-player-performance-index.html?paramSearchTerm=¶mClubId=¶mSeason=2014-2015¶mPosition=¶mEaBreakdownType=ACCUMULATIVE¶mGameWeek=1¶mItemsPerPage=20¶mSelectedPageIndex=1http://www.squawka.com/football-player-rankings#performance-score#player-stats#english-barclays-premier-league|season-2014/2015#all-teams#all-player-positions#16#44#0#0#90#16/08/2014#19/12/2014#season#1#all-matches#totalhttp://www.squawka.com/football-player-rankings#performance-score#player-stats#champions-league|season-2014/2015#all-teams#all-player-positions#16#39#0#0#90#16/09/2014#19/12/2014#season#1#all-matches#total#desc#totalhttp://www.whoscored.com/Regions/252/Tournaments/2/Seasons/4311/Stages/9155/PlayerStatistics/England-Premier-League-2014-2015http://www.whoscored.com/Regions/250/Tournaments/12/Seasons/4333/Stages/11564/PlayerStatistics/Europe-UEFA-Champions-League-2014-2015All those rankings have him in the top3. Sorry, but I think those links were a disservice to your point - although I do agree with you he's on the same level as some of those players. Those ratings, scores and whats not these sites have are obnoxious. I laughed at some players and their ratings/scores.He's on the same level, but not on the same bracket as those guys because we aren't an one-man-team like City is (Aguero) or Arsenal (Sanchez). Eden is way more talented than Sanchez and more talented than Aguero, but he's a team player. Sanchez is a bit more engaged into the team, but Aguero is a separated 'body'. and they're major cunts. Silva and di MarÃa are very talented too (and not cunts), but they've been injured for a while this season...I prefer Eden over any of them, but those rankings are nonsense. There are surprises in there, like Downing, but he's been the standout performer in a team that sits in 4th.They give a pretty good picture as to who has been doing well this season. Well, most people I know don't take those ratings seriously, and rightfully, because they're data generated by computers inherited by American methods - which works fine for the recreation sports they have there such as 'football' and baseball, that are very simple recreation sports, with few variables that don't show much variation. When you apply the same method to a sport much more complex such football, it loses all credibility. You probably just looked Hazard's ratings, and his aren't that bad (although some of his defensive ratings are laughable too) and overall looked who were there. But to each their own mate... there's a reason those ratings and scores are rarely brought into any conversation on the forum (if you ever noticed). They're worse than the stats I refer to in my signature imo (whoscored the worst of all). Also, except with Aguero leading them all, the lists themselves have a lot of contradicting. Yes, Hazard is top 3 in all of them, but if they were any accurate, shouldn't they look a lot more like each other? I mean, the players, the matches they're analyzing are the same, still they have some very different results.I prefer to base my opinion on what I watch and my perception of this instead of something that doesn't work for football. They all use statistics, highlighted by video-evidence, in preparation for the next game. The difference in the ratings is easily explained tho. And luckily they aren't exactly the same or they'd be a lot less interesting. Most use the same source material but give different weight of importance to some of the statistics in their calculations. Haven't come across anything contradictory tho. I guess if you run them through a program like SPSS you'd find a huge correlation."But to each their own mate... there's a reason those ratings and scores are rarely brought into any conversation on the forum"I guess it's the same reason a forum has smileys? A fan-forum is hardly a place you'd find crawling with coaches carrying an UEFA A license giving a thorough analysis. iseah100
