Popular Post! MrExcalibur100 7,124 Posted August 8, 2019 Popular Post! Share Posted August 8, 2019 Mata, aΒ much greater player in Chelsea's history got sold to Man United despite inferior players unfairly starting over him. I didn't lose too much sleep about it. The fact that this fake hopped to Arsenal in the last second of the window despite our ban after forcing us to break our contract extension policy for his overrated ass shows were his loyalty lies. Fuck him. I knew there was a reason I never warmed to this fake clown. Bye bye and don't let the door hit you on your way out! Pizy 18,952
Let us hope he goes the way of Matic. Started off great and now they're desperate to bin him. Going to miss his spectacular long passes. Not going to miss him totally vacating his area of the pitch or losing his man on corners. Also, no more wasting the majority of our free kicks around the box so Luiz can blast the ball in to row Z. I was absolutely delighted we got Β£40m for a heavily declined Matic and spent the season hoping United were going to give us even more for Willian. Crap to avearge players all of them. Not the case with the ones we shipped out.
BlueLyon 9,359
This is weird. Why would he join arsenal of all clubs if he wanted to move at all? MichaelDance
Laylabelle 9,536
Plus if no other club showed interest makes sense.Β Out the blue but mehhh. If that's the attitude... He just wants to stay in London. I'm thankful for his great moments, especiallyin the Champions league, but he really is just a faker. I'll never forget the countless games he threw away against weaker teams last season alone because of his apathetic defending. He never really cared. This is no different from Courtois. So I dont wish him anything bad. Just thank you and good bye. bigbluewillie

Matic was average at absolute best for two and a half years before United signed him, we may have ballsed up his replacements but Β£40m for Matic was one of the best sales we've ever made. As for Cech he lost his edge (his last great season was 10/11) and was replaced with a world class young keeper who's (along with Eden) stood up and won us the league while the rest of the squad were losing the plot. Mata was still quite good but all things considered in 2014 a Β£37m offer from a player that didn't really fit the way modern day football was heading (athleticism, high press etc) was a very decent deal, even more so now he hasn't even come close to his 2012 self at United. Β Yes, something broke with him at White Hart Lane In that 5-3, the way he was destroyed in that game and the PSG one made Mikel at his worst look like Maka. Then 15/16 well needs no introductions, Jose subbed him on and back off then Hiddink dropped him completely. Even by the standards our squad set that season he was woeful. 16/17 he did okay in the 13 game winning run but had life made easy for him next to Kante. After that the old flaws returned with a vengeance and there were many debate on here about whether Cesc or even Chalobah should be replacing him in the team. He was widely regarded as the weak link and the first port of call when it came to upgrading the side in the summer (if you don't believe me search his thread for posts around that time). His decline post 2014 was every bit as drastic as El Nino/Alexis in my opinion.

Was a beast in 13-14....superb in 14-15.....15-16 the whole team was fucked bare Willy....16-17 again for me was superb but signs were there he might not deliver at that level no more and after that got sold. Overall far from average if you ask me. But I get your point, im not against we sold him, just not to stinking utd who refused to sell us Rooney and Martial. This might be a bad example but Pogba has been very average for utd since day 1, yet I highly doubt they would sell him to us unless we bid way above his real value. MichaelDance 552
What a rat, a traitor sorry but he's gone to our rivals when we have a transfer ban...
