We Hate Scouse 10,327
Ruble is the problem now, not only oil price...http://www.x-rates.com/graph/?from=RUBThe fall in the rouble is massively linked to oil prices. High oil prices = a strong rouble
OhForAGreavsie 6,077
Yes and no. He doesn't directly, but his investment company Millhouse Capital does - mainly Gazprom.Thank you.I don't follow these things closely but I understood that for a number of years Roman's share of Sibneft was owned through Millhouse and that, when he decided to move out of that industry, Millhouse sold its Sibneft shares to Gazprom leaving our owner out of the oil business. I was not aware that Roman owned any part of Gazprom, through Millhouse or any other vehicle.

From the recent court proceedings it seems that the shares get passed around between companies a lot.He has Millhouse Capital in the UK, Millhouse LLC in Russia, Electus Investments in Cyprus, Aristus Holdings in Cyprus, Lanebrook in Cyprus, Ervington Investments in Cyprus, Crispian Investments in Cyprus and many moreCiting the lawsuit, brought against Abramovich by Boris Berezovsky (See above), the news service said the Chelsea football clob owner "shuffled assets, including stakes in oil, aluminum, automobile manufacturing and airlines, between holding companies in Gibraltar, Cyprus and the British Virgin Islands" [Bloomberg 30 April 2013]. LDN Blue 7,903
His wealth should be fine, he's still worth enough money. This is just a consequence of a very volatile exchange rate, because of sanctions against Russia. In the long-term, this should level out for his wealth to increase again. In terms of how much he still has, I don't think he'll be worried yet. iceboy

KevinAshburner 1,270
how would you all react if Roman Abramovich was infact actually a full time and part time paid Secret Agent of The Russian Government (The Secret Government That Actually runs the Country behind The Scenes) and was and is paid and funded by Vladimir Putin/Russian Government to find out Things and Stuff. That's all I am Allowed to say on that matter and That's all can Say on that.

People will always exploit people - it's never going to change, Utopia is nothing more than an idealistic fairytale.I used to care, but there's not much I can do about it - so adjusted my outlook, as long as I am happy, the wife is happy and the dog is happy and my family/friends are fine - that's all I concern myself with.If there's a secret organisation manipulating the world - good luck to them, sounds a fuck load of work and very boring kellzfresh, zolayes, Amblève. and 4 others
