Well, if you can get 6 months for stealing a water bottle, this sentence makes sense. Of course, you can swindle people out of millions and get nothing but a fat bonus so the system isn't exactly fair. (Big surprise I know)

If sentences were consistently tough across the board then it would be a slightly less bitter pill to swallow but they aren't. Anything to do with football gets a overreaction, but yes i agree a stupid amount of big business thief's remain free as well. And plus whilst the riot sentences appeared very tough in reality almost no one convicted will serve even half their sentence. It was a political ploy to give the impression of deterrent.

Sorry for bumping the thread up again, but if that feels unjust.. in Estonia you can get 2 years for killing a person and get out earlier for good behaviour.
