Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
Keep Mata fresh for games where we will need his attacking ability. Kalou to track back. Mata is too good a player for us to waste his energy by getting him to do nothing but run around.Fresh? this is the biggest game of the year! What are we keeping him "fresh" for QPR? Mata will play, when we have so little possession we will need to use it well and to be honest with you I don't see Bosingwa or Kalou being able to use the ball better than he. All we need is one incisive break and Mata to me is the guy to deliver that ball...
Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
To the pitch size debate:I really don't get all those saying that Camp nou's bigger pitch will make a big difference. Their pitch is 1.49% wider and 1.94% taller than that at SB. That's not even noticeable with the naked eye!It will make a difference to a team that knows how to utilize the size of it(Like Barca) and can play inch perfect passes(like Barca) this is a game of inches and space is paramount for teams that play like Barca. Steve 10,227
The thing the annoys me so much about this is that United played Barca twice in two finals and lost both times. To beat Barca you need to play the way we did otherwise it will not happen because they are so strong on the ball. There is no point attacking them otherwise they will punish you on the counter. Just look at how Madrid beat them on the weekend, by playing counter attack but no one questioned there tactics.

If we can't defend, we're aswell to wave the white flag. We play to our strengths, pick our opportunitys, and stay organised. What the hell is wrong with that? Its Barcelona who come into these massive games with no Plan B!

I've never heard of Cakir. I don't think many heard of Ovrebo before he refereed that match either...To be fair, I would have probably given that penalty. It wasn't deliberate but the hand definitely stopped the cross.
Jase 43,479
Feeling downright nervous about this one. Didn't even feel that way before the first leg. We're still the underdogs going into this and it's gonna be a mammoth task taking on Barcelona at the Camp Nou and also with the referee expected to favor Barcelona. That aside though, we're possibly only 90 minutes away from another Champions League Final!Aaaahhhhhh!! Can we just skip to Tuesday night already?! Win or lose, just want to get this over it. Such agony to just even wait for the match to come, let alone to find out the outcome of the tie tomorrow night!!

They have looked lethargic from the start and it was as if they couldn't be bothered with it and was just conserving their energy for this game. Wouldn't be surprised if they start a high tempo and come out all guns blazing at us tomorrow.
